Phenomenal Hostel! First of all, the location is excellent. 15 minutes away from city center by walking, and it's close to the river. Secondly, it's a happening place - there's an entertainment event almost every night. Definitely on weekends. The facilities are top-notch. The furniture and amenities are modern. I highly recommend this hostel to individual travelers looking to meet...

It was my first time staying in a hostel. So, I was a bit nervous about living in a dorm with 25 other people. Guess what?! It worked. I totally enjoyed the time spent there. Great value for money. Spotlessly clean dorm and the most amazing stuff. They also have promotions and a daily entertainment for the residents down in...

Was a nice dorm room and in good location to explore the city. Very easy to find from the metro and fairly priced. They do however, charge extra for everything else, from towels to leaving your luggage. The staff were nice but didn't inform us of the social areas that were available upon arrival. A drawback of the hostel, is...

Even though there's a pub/restaurant downstairs that plays music every night we really had a great stay! There was no noise at night and we slept very well. Comfortable bed and pillows, spacious shower. Very nice hotel at a very affordable price!!

We stayed for 4 nights with 6 people in our room as a group. They were able to accommodate our entire group in one room which was very helpful. The room itself was small and there wasn't individual storage space for all 6 people, which would have been an issue had we not been one large group. The shower and...

Nicest Hostel I've ever stayed in. Perfect location in Prague, not too close to all tourist areas, but close enough. Close to great restaurants and bars. One of the best experiences I've had, and a great staff.

Mosaic House is an amazing hostel. Everyone is cool and the architecture is awesome. The front desk is very helpful. Although my reservations did get slightly messed up, it wasn't a big deal and ended up working out just fine!

Moasic House is the perfect place for students/young adults to stay when spending a few days in Prague. Centrally located with very helpful staff. The lounge area near reception turns into a bar/nightclub at night, which can get loud but for Prague being known for their night life...it is expected. We stayed in a 6 bed room which was extremely...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
