My stay here was nice. The staff was helpful at check-in and with questions. There were no deposits for anything and the linens, towels, and locker were all provided. The laundry service was a bit pricey and the hostel bar was a bit dull. WiFi was great and so were the showers. One tip about the area though, don't buy...

I have stayed at Little Quarter many times over the past 2 1/2 years - perhaps more than anyone. It has always been an excellent value, and until very recently it was one of the few I have ever stayed in which had NO BUNK BEDS...much has changed recently. The place has had a major renovation/reconstruction during the past year,...

I stayed in this amazing supercomfortable hostel unfortunately just for one night, because my two friends and I are travelling between few countries in a very short time. First of all we had been kindly welcomed by Jolana, who helped us making a perfect plan to visit the whole city (even the less popular and usually most beautiful places) in...

Little Quarter is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in in Europe! The facilities are top notch; lockers under each bed (without the need for a lock), an abundance of modern showers, clean toilets and a kitchen upstairs. The staff were also super friendly! Its located on one of the nicest streets in Prague with a real awesome local...

The place is nice and the staff is nice also, buy I feel quite disappointed. I rent a room for 6, but actually inside my room there was another room. My bed was next to the door, so 12 people were coming in and out the hole night. Impossible to sleep. That was a shame, because the place is nice...

I'd never been to a hostel before, and as soon as I entered I was pleasantly surprised. I paid less than 50 euros for 4 nights! There are many shower facilities next to each dorm and a lot of toilets! My friend said breakfast was lovely! I also like the lounge bar and the location of the hostel. For the...

Spent 4 nights in the hostel. We ended up with a 2 bed room even though we had booked a drop which was great. Facilities were above standard. Showers good and everything was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend the breakfast!!! Huge variety and it is on till 11 so you can have a bit of a...

Near the Castle and tram station. At the center of the most beautiful Prague district Mala Strana. Very clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff - we could ask about anything and also exchange the currency. They have a kitchen for guests, but we bought breakfast at their bar - good choice. We had really great time there.

We loved our stay at Little Quarter Hostel. It was really clean. Plenty of showers, all clean and modern. The rooms clean and comfortable. Nice space to sit outside in the evening. The location is perfect for exploring the historic city of Prague. I will really recommend it. Breakfast was excellent too.

I booked a 6-bed dorm, but the entrance/exit of the room next to my room (which was also a 6-bed dorm) was also in the room I was staying in. So the people of that room had to go in and out through my room. So I basically stayed in a 12 dorm room, but I paid for a 6...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
