The curtains in the bedroom were white and thin, so the room was filled with light from 07.30 am waking me up. I was fooled by the checkin agent into thinking that they would change them, but they never did. The hairdryer didn't work, they promised to bring a new one but they never did even after two reminders. The...

Clean and large apartment with high ceiling and a proper bed. Situated just 5-10 min. easy walk from the metro station and by a walking distance (30 min.) from the Old Town. No tourist crowds around. Instead there are plenty of local eateries, beer gardens and coffee shops. The residence is strongly recommended. As well as Gribovka park with vineyard...

Accommodation: clean, nice, urban vibe. Price: average Communication: not so convenient since they do not have receptionist desk. Remember to email them a day before you come and indicate the time. There would be people waiting for you to handle the key.

The apartment was very large, but poorly planned. When speaking, there was a loud echo in every room and gave you weird sensations. It lacks something on the walls, you surely need a designer to add some attractiveness to it. There's no TV in it, but it's not a big deal. You're in a beautiful city and there's no time...

Stayed here this weekend and can honestly say for the price of these apartments I would recommend them to anyone thinking on visiting Prague. They seem to be based in a residential area but easily accessible to tourist attractions. The apartments are spacious immaculate condition with free wifi. There is a little bar right across the street and an Irish...

We arrived one night late due Brussels’ attacks. We sent an email explaining the situation; they said they did not received it. They rent again “our” room and they did not offer us anything because the residence was full. We were stranded in the street, with the baggage, raining and without hotel. They treat us indifferently, little tact and poor...

The neighborhood is nice and convenient to the metro as well as within walking distance to Wenceslas Square and Old Town (about 20+ minutes). There are good restaurants in the area. My room was spacious and clean with nice kitchen and fairly comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons included no staff on site- you need to contact the...

I stayed in apartment #6 at Residence Elema. This apartment is great! Very close to metro stop Namesti Miru, and several trams that can take you anywhere you need to go. There are a ton of restaurants, pubs and cafes in the neighborhood. Kristina was friendly and flexible. I highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a nice...

The apartment is fresh and new with high ceilings and overall that imperial building vibe. Fantastic value for money as the neighbour hood is lovely where it is situated. Plenty of local eateries within stone throw, all serving quality Czech cuisine. Large apartment and everything in working order. Centre of prague (old town and Wenceslass square) within walking distance approx...

All was good. Good location close enough to central Prague. Good and clean apartment. The only hassle was we had to pay cash and leave a secure deposit. This hotel would be better with a credit card facility. But you could stay in a bad hotel in Prague and still have an amazing time. Prague is the most beautiful city...

Staying in Vinohrady & Vrsovice

Neighbourhood Profile
Vinohrady & Vrsovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
