It does not look much from outside but when you enter it was homely especially with all the christmas decorations. It had a chef special which was very good and the other half said goulash was really nice. I would say it was tasty traditional food.

Do not come here for accommodation. While the hostel may be located quite close to the city centre, all the rest is just terrible. We arrived in the afternoon. There's no reception so you have to check in in the pub beside. We had to pay a 20 euro deposit for the keys. There had been no mention of it...

Really liked this hostel. It's very convenient. And the breakfast offered is really good. WIFI is also very reliable. Would definitely recommend it for anyone. Everything is walking distance from this place and the staff are very friendly

Hostel is above the pub with the same name, not that obvious to find. Location was great, walking distance to most nightclubs. We had a nice room, but on the fourth floor with no elevator. Shared toilets and showers. Clean.

we have stayed in this hostel for two nights, while on weekend in Prague. The price was very convenient, but it was the only advantage of this place. Rooms are on the fourth floor without lift, no ac, so it was impossible to sleep/get some rest. the rooms itself were ok, quite modest. id say. My bed (ikea one) was...

We have been in this place twice, almost nothing to complain about. Different beer choice, tasty food( size of portion was also pretty good), quick service. Location is near to the river and to our hotel as well( riverside Mamaison) enjoy!!!!!

Located right next to the river, this hotel sits atop a restaurant which serves some really fine food. The lodging facilities are however not really up to the mark with old furniture sparingly adorning the rooms. Only stay here if you have no other option in town.

This was our first meal in Prague and it was an awesome welcome to the city! The food is quite cheap and the beer is amazing! I would recommend the dark beer and the pork! The staff were very friendly and efficient. I am not sure about the B&B but it is def worth stopping here for a meal!

The flat is good and we were surprised the first but reality becomes nightmare. The end price annouced the first day changed and we paid rally more than the manager said us the first day. The flat is over a discotheque and it's impossible to sleep the saturday on morning. Service is not very good and we are happy to...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
