Detailed Reviews
Julius Hotel is comfortable and excellently located in the center of Prague. Completely renovated, it offers various comforts starting from the spacious rooms furnished with an elegant design. The bathroom is also finely furnished as is the small kitchen with its top-of-the-range appliances. The only flaw was that the staff was unable to turn off the ventilation without explaining why. Still nice staff. The breakfast is very complete and varied and satisfies many tastes. Strongly recommended for tourists who want to discover Prague. Excellent value for money.

This is a great hotel in a central location.
The hotel is clean , modern and quiet. You can walk to all the main sights in Prague- the astronomical clock is 10 min walk away. There is a coffee machine in the room which I loved and I was also a huge fan of the heated floor in the bathroom.
My only tiny complaints (which won’t impact the majority of guests) were:
-At the breakfast buffet the ingredients on all items isn’t listed. Being gluten free this meant I wasn’t aware what I could and couldn’t eat so I stuck to fruit and yoghurt to be safe. Would be great to see some specific GF options. I would also recommend they get better English breakfast teabags as the teabags are rubbish so my tea was really weak (thankfully I came prepared and brought my own)
-there was no vanity kit in the bathroom or conditioner (just shampoo). I think you could order this on the hotel app but it would be nice if it was just in the room.
The above are very minor points and wouldn’t stop me staying in the hotel again as we had a fabulous stay!

Dear emhams, thank you for a kind and detailed review of your stay at The Julius. We are grateful for your wonderful comments about the apartment and our location. Thank you so much for pointing out the room features such as heated bathroom floors and a coffee machine. We are sorry to hear that not all the items in the breakfast offer were up to your standards. Thank you also for your feedback regarding the vanity kits. You are completely right about the possibility of ordering them to the room. We will take your comments into consideration and do our best to eliminate these points. It was truly an honour for us to host you, and we hope to have a chance to welcome you back in the future. With kindest regards, Alina Utkina Guest Relations Manager The Julius

The Julius is such a stunning property! The rooms are clean, modern and so spacious, very apartment style with your own little kitchenette with everything supplied, from plate ware, cutlery, cookware, glassware etc. I wish I stayed longer to use all of this. It is centrally located but tucked away on a quiet street so you won't be bothered by any late night noise of the city. We opted to have breakfast included which was a wonderful buffet every morning - Simona and Miroslava we're simply amazing! The property has a beautiful gym and even laundry on site so you truly feel at home. Next to the hotel is a Julius Meinl shop which makes the perfect compliment to pick up any last minute gifts or snacks for your room.

The hotel’s front and back office staff are professional, polite and courteous and would be remiss not to mention Petra (reception) who dealt with a specific issue we had and went to great lengths to ensure it had been resolved to our satisfaction.
Breakfast is buffet style & its quality and presentation cannot be faulted. The waiting staff are well presented and the tables are cleared promptly as plates etc are finished with (nothing’s too much trouble).
We’re planning a trip to Prague next year and can’t wait to return to The Julius : )

This hotel is literally waiting to be discovered. Its location at the seam, as it were, of the old and new towns, couldn't be better, with most tourist attractions within easy walking distance and a tram stop just around the corner.
Rooms and bathrooms at the Julius are quite spacious (disclaimer - we were upgraded to a junior suite) and well appointed. Breakfast is what you would expect at a luxury hotel - the property has only four stars, which in my view is an understatement.
And they have their own parking garage, a bit pricey but still an absolute necessity for those coming to Prague by car. Once you leave your car there, you can forget it until check out, as the city can and should be explored on foot or by using public transportation. And here is a bit of advice which is not clearly stated in guidebooks or many websites, namely that if a person, Czech or foreign, is over 65 years of age, all public transport in the city is absolutely free, no strings attached.
Finally, what makes a good hotel to be great is its staff. Starting especially with friendly helpful Nicol at the reception, Hamza and the Ukrainian porter, and all the way to the smiling chambermaids, the hotel director should be proud of them.

It is the best hotel I have visited in my entire life. I have traveled to the most remote countries and I have never seen such a hotel and its interest in the guest. I chose the suites. I was shocked that it has a large living room with everything you need. You feel at home. There is the most expensive brand of water boiler + refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer, and they did not even forget an iron. Steam, you can imagine that.. They helped me book a car from the hotel to areas outside Prague + another car to Vienna.. In the end, I thank them very much for their treatment and for this great interest in the guest and his comfort.

I stayed in a Deluxe Studio with kitchenette (36 m²) for 11 nights. Staff on arrival, were welcoming and made my “check in” smooth. My room was comfortable and modern. The room has a “walk-in” shower and the Bathroom floor had heated tiles. A Towel warmer electric rack dryer is usually not available, but at this residence it is a useful rack for a quick dry. The kitchenette is equipped with Microwave, fridge, kettle & toaster (No washing machine). However, a self-service laundry room is accessible to guests, and the machines are easy to use (via an app), surely a convenient service. The staff at front desk are friendly & helpful.

I escaped the summer heat this past August for a 3-day trip to Prague. I travelled solo and selected The Julius because it is a smaller but modern hotel located right in the centre of Prague, just outside the limits of the Old Town.
The hotel is excellent. Check in is a digital, paperless experience that took place rapidly and with very friendly customer service.
The room was large; the bed excellent. There was no desk but a small table and chair. The bathroom was really modern and well-equipped. Overall design was excellent.
The hotel is quiet. Some rooms, like mine, overlook an internal courtyard.
Breakfast was incredible. A large selection of high quality dishes.
Nearly everything is walking distance: Old Town Square in about 10 minutes; the Bridge in about 14-15 minutes, depending on the crowds. Just a few steps away is a courtyard with one of the best restaurants around.
Overall, I had an excellent stay and will definitely stay here again.
