Stayed in the Charles Bridge palace hotel in February. Lovely hotel right in the center of things. Its about a five minute walk to the square. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are lovely and warm. We had breakfast there each morning and there was plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel and we will...

Lovely hotel, within 40 meters of Charles bridge. Lovely rooms. Breakfast is appalling so best avoided. The adage would be "food is for fuel not enjoyment" Try to find local Czech places rather than the touristic areas - though there is some great food in the square also

Supberb location, no flashy reception but the staff were very helpful, our room 210 was very big, with a big bed 6'. dressing room, bathroom, high ceilings, tea/coffee but no milk and none available, very clean, the breakfast was European, great selection but if you are British and want a full English that's not available, but what we had we...

If you're looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the city centre look no further. The room was spacious and well-equipped - far exceeding our expectations. Breakfast is available from 07.30 to 10.30 - a blessing when you need an early start (or a lie-in) and although you'll not get a...

A beautiful, traditional hotel just a stones throw from Charles Bridge and very close to all other attractions. Room was large, comfortable and despite other reviews was very quiet. After returning from a day out it was fantastic to return to our warm and cosy room. The room was well equipped and complete with lovely toiletries and plenty of towels....

Great location, good view of the river but a few down sides.... riverside view room means your window will face the biggest night club in Prague. The hotel was very hot through out and had a slow reception. Breakfast was average at best especially for a four star hotel. Location was obviously great and can't complain about the price but...

This hotel was a great value with a prime location and literally beside the bridge. The location is the reason I give this hotel a 4 star. The accommodations are spacious, yet only average in comfort and amenities. The breakfast really fell below our expectations due to the food variety/lack of freshness, poor layout creating food line traffic jams, and...

With a wonderful location right next to Charles Bridge the Palace is a great base for exploring central Prague. When we arrived it took almost 40 minutes for front desk to check us in, which included 20 minutes to check in the person in front of us. There was only one computer for this to be done so in busier...

The hotel is in a really great location, which is why I chose it. But I was extremely disappointed when I entered my room, all three windows in the room faced onto a walkway in the middle of the building. As a single woman traveling alone, this was concerning, especially since the room was so warm that I needed to...

This hotel is in a great location just 1 1/2 blocks to the charles bridge and about 4 blocks to the old town square. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Our room on the 3rd floor facing the back was quiet, but had no view. However, we heard other people complaining of noise who faced the front. There...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
