It is a very good located hotel. 10 min. to old town, 5 min. to main train station. Good accommodation. Good breakfast. BUT, choose your hotel away from the street otherwise you can not sleep because of the tram noises until morning. It is like as if the tram goes through your room. Reception is not friendly.

The hotel and rooms are very basic, but clean. Close to everything, walking distance. The major problem was that we got a room facing street and every time a tram passed by seems like a miniearthquake and a terrible noise. It is almost impossible to sleep since the trams are operating late at night and very early in the morning....

I was with my friends there and enjoyed the stay..but i didn't like very much the staff wich was a little bit rude. I liked only the cheese and the bread for breakfast because i had the impression that the other food was old. The juice didn't taste like juice and the other drinks too. I really hated the fact...

However, since you are paying very little money for such an amazing location, it comes with a price: 1. The room is super basic. You get a...

The worst hotel I have ever been. The housekeeping may open the door without knocking on the door. The room was very dirty, they did not clean it well. We were awake by the noise and smell of the kitchen. The kitchen also was very dirty and breakfast was very bad. We told the reception (a blond boy) that we...

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of old town Prague. The rooms are large, but basic, but they have everything you need for a weekend break! My friend and I were really impressed with the service and the staff have been so very helpful! The breakfast buffet was small, but had everything you needed to set...

I stayed there only one night and that was one night too much. I've never been in a room with so much noise from the street. The trams went past all the time. My bed and windows almost choke each time and it was all the time. If you stay there, ask for a room towards the other side. I...

We stayed for three nights over a long weekend in mid-August, and were pleased with our stay. It’s a very basic hotel, but the rooms were clean and quite spacious, and the location was great. Staff wasn’t very welcoming, and even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked by any means and we were only early by about 1,5 hours, we...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
