We have chosen this hotel because of its location in the city centre, accessible parking and a swimming pool. The hotel looks like from a communist's era but inside it is new and clean without an old odeur what these types of the hotels usually have. There is a complimentary swimming pool with a jacuzzi and really good equipped fitness gym. The room is nicely furnished, however TV should be rechanged as a screen does not show real colors. Also the window cannot be opened. The parking is inside the hotel but it is quite expensive. You can be in the city centre in 5-10 minutes, you are just located on the street Parizska which is famous for a luxury shopping. It is very expensive there and I would recommend to go to shopping little bit further-Na Porici street.

Arrived at the hotel on December 23rd. Since we have spent the previous day in Nuremberg, we arrived early and unfortunately there was no available room, but we were advised that it would be ready in a couple of hours. We took a stroll around the old city which is literally 5' from the hotel. The hotel is located ideally on the edge of the old town and you really don't need your car to go around. Of course then you would need to leave your car at the parking under the hotel, which is EXPENSIVE, 40 Euro per day is anything but cheap.
Upon our return we were directed to our room. Indeed the hotel does show it's age. The furniture and electronics would need to be replaced. Not that something was not functioning properly but it did made me feel that I had stepped into the late 90s'.
The staff was very helpful and willing to assist. The welcome letter for the Platinum member was addressed to someone else and upon bringing that to the attention of the staff, I was explained that the room was initially prepared for another guest and due to our early arrival it was allocated to us. One hick up was the fact that I was asked to pay separately for the extra bed in our King Executive Suite, although same had been confirmed in the past that would be at no extra cost. I did point out the fact at the reception and I also forwarded the email. This was settled quickly and after apologizing for the mix-up there was nothing else that I could say that did not go as planned.
Had the chance also to try out the pool which was warm enough and extremely clean.
The breakfast was nice and there is nothing that was missing from the buffet.
Pleasant stay and if we would return to Prague, we would definitely stay again.

I have vidited this Iconic Prague hotel a couple of times now and never found fault in the professionalism of the staff or the hotel in general.
Residing in room 516 ,the room was always spotless , cleaned by an amazing team.
Breakfast room choices are awesome.Something for every nationality and waiting staff extremely helpful.
Iva on reception deserves a special nention as she is an angel in disguise!
The tall slim blond porter is just an angel with his greetings and smile every day 👍
I would highly recommend the IHG Prague for friendliness,courtesy from every member of staff from kitchen,waiting , porters ,housekeeping reception and management.
Well done team.
I will see you all again in March 🥰

The Hotel has Great Concierge Staff, rooms were small and has limited space. Tv stations has no Hd channels and only 2 English speaking channels CNN news and BBC NEWS. Was Told that the Fairmont Hotels were buying the hotel. Bad Wi Fi connection.

We have visited Prague often and always stayed at this 5 star hotel. The location is excellent. Minutes to the old town square and located on the most famous shopping street in prague for boutique shopping. Service is top notch with staff always smiling and willing to help with any request. The morning breakfast was a bit high but the varied selection was worth the cost. Hotel will be refurbished this spring and we can’t wait to return.

I stayed here with my family at Christmas time to see the Christmas market. Three of us stayed in one room. The room was very spacious with two king beds and a separate sitting area. The staff was very helpful in suggesting dining options as well as tracking down a tour guide when our previously arranged tour guide got sick. The hotel is right on the river and was a short three block walk to the old town center and Christmas market. I loved the hotel.

The hotel is just a short walk to many points of interest (old town, town square, castle, metronom, river cruises, theaters). The bar/restaurant is convenient and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was that our room was quite warm and the thermostat within the room didn’t seem to make a difference when it was adjusted. We were able to somewhat overcome this by cracking the window, but it was still warmer than we would like for sleeping.

Have been to many Intercontinental hotels, I’m not sure whether this hotel is part of the group, but it sure does not stand with the standards. Rooms are ok, staff are mostly ok, service lacks some basics. Sorry but did not meet my expectations. A four star place (in it’s best days)
On the good side- location is great, beds are comfortable.
The bad- overpriced. For example, they charge almost 500 Crowns (about 20 euro) for a ridiculous movie on TV (a 32” lousy one, no smart features). Not that I was interested, but still, wtf?
The ugly- Shower curtain! In 2020!!

We stayed here for 4 days during the period the country went into lock down for corona virus. The staff were fantastic. Helpful friendly honest people who were facing job losses and huge uncertainty but still took the time to try and help us out. They offered to ring around local restaurants so we could find somewhere to celebrate our anniversary. They tried to keep us up to date with what was happening even though they must gave been desperately worried for their own future.

Used to love Intercontinental, their ambassador program is a great deal. Was turned away from Zlata restaurant for wearing the wrong shoes. Every Intercontinental property I stay at is progressively worse, this one takes the cake for most depressing waste of money ever. These guys think they're the only game in town - they're not. Stay at the Mandarin. Don't give this corporate monster your money, they rob you and then mistreat you on top. They should be out of business operating like this.

Sorry. Don’t know. Hotel laundry service is typically rather expensive.
At the time we wasn't traveling with children, but there's normally an offer on, if you check with reception when you arrive at the hotel they will tell you.
Also breakfast can be included depending on what room type you are staying in, for this hotel you need to be in a CLUB room, there breakfast is included plus you have access to the Club floor.
