Lovely mid range hotel. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Had rooms overlooking square which were great. Breakfast and drinks in the combo restaurant which were good. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Prague.

Great location for exploring Prague. Hotel was good, we had a balcony that looked over Wenceslas square, a bit noisy on Friday night though. Breakfast was ok, I missed...

Hotel Jalta is in a very good location in central Prague. Rooms are very small unless you upgrade to a suite. Very good breakfast included in room price. Coffee, pastries, eggs, fruit, cereals. Clean rooms but nothing fancy. Excellent beds and good housekeeping.

Although this was a lovely Xmas present from out 2 boys. After reading some of the comments about the hotel. We were a bit apprehensive about the visit. We Can only comment on how our visit was. Transfer from airport is easy. Bus 119 then metro to either Mustek or Museum. This one is best as it's a couple of...

This was a nice hotel in an excellent location.. some great cocktails in the bar down stairs! Extensive breakfast available.. Generally a really nice and accommodating hotel- would recommend it as it leads nicely down into the old town.

We did not stay in this hotel but we had lunch in the restaurant which faces on to Wenceslas Square. We sat outside and were provided with outdoor heaters and blankets just in case we felt cold. It was February! We had a super meal (the set lunch) which was beautifully presented by super, polite restaurant staff. We would not...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
