Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
Absolutely faultless stay at the Hilton Prague Old Town. We stayed 4 nights. Ideally located for all main attractions which are in walking distance. Hotel and rooms spotless. Attention to detail was fantastic including decent magnifying mirror in the bathroom on the wall and main mirror which didn’t mist up on using shower. Hairdryer and iron available in room, and tea and coffee etc and complimentary large bottle of water every day.
Courtesy call twice during our stay to check if we were satisfied with room cleaning.
Hotel has a decent gym and the sauna and pool were great too.
We were b and b only so cannot comment on other meals but the breakfast was everything and more, and included cooked, continental, omelettes made to order, pastries, cereals, fruit and salad vegetables, breads, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, porridge, waffles, even chia pudding and Bircher muesli, and sparkling wine as well as tea, coffee, juices etc.
Staff attentive and very pleasant; nothing was too much trouble.
We were located on the 8th floor and never heard any noise from other guests.
Very good supermarket across the road from the hotel if needed.
Possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again if we returned to Prague.

We enjoyed our stay at the property for 4 nights.
Everything was spot on - soft carpeting, nice furniture and amenities, beautiful king size bed, pleasant modern 55 or 60 inch TV with Intel WIDi ability - you can stream videos and music to the television set from any smartphone without any cables.
The walls are extremely thick, you can not hear a thing.
The windows can be opened fully for taking great photos.
We also got a warm welcome letter one day prior to our stay with some must go destinations and greetings from the hotel manager - a nice touch.
The last floor is the Executive one.
There are three very fast elevators and you never have to wait for one.
We choose the renovated room with walking shower, instead of a room with a bathtub (again renovated, but not that soon).
There is another Hilton hotel in Prague, but we chose this one due to the location.
Recommended, two thumbs up!

We stayed here twice and both times enjoyed the location in Old Town next to the train station, and also the Executive happy hour from 5-7 every night (including Christmas Eve and Christmas!) I only give it 4 stars because the executive lounge remains closed; however, I think the hotel has done a nice job providing otherwise. The staff was always friendly & professional, especially the bar tenders. Happy hour provides free food, beer, champagne, and even cocktails for diamond members. Food was simple (4 hot appetizers, sandwiches, various veggies, bread, etc.) There is a sectioned off area in the bar, but we just sat in the main area where the cushioned booths were and we were more comfortable. The bar tenders always removed our used dishes and offered to bring more beer/cocktails (wine and soft drinks are self-serve.)
Breakfast is over the top because you can order fried eggs, omelet, or eggs benedict as well as help yourself to the buffet with many selections, including scrambled eggs & bacon every day. Breakfast staff is very accommodating and professional.
Rooms were all very nice with comfy beds. You'll get a better view with a room facing the front of the hotel, but may have to deal with some street noise, such as trash trucks, etc. The inside rooms overlook an ugly rooftop.
Housekeeping was accommodating. When we were using the room all morning, she came back to clean in the afternoon.

We travelled to Prague for Christmas with our daughters (9 and 11), and the Hilton Old Town was the perfect location for it.
The hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Prague, walking distance to all attractions, with shops close by, in addition to a being a modern well appointed hotel.
We attended the Xmas Eve Supper in the hotels “Zinc” restaurant, which was a vast and varied buffet, entertained by a stunning singer (think Nora Jones, who apparently also entertain their weekly Sunday brunches - highly recommend!)
The room was large enough for 4 people, the breakfasts (buffet) again varied and plentiful, and everyone was attentive and helpful.
A great hotel for families (or anyone really) who are travelling to Prague.

We were very happy with the decision to stay at the Hilton Old Town. This location was excellent with just a 8 minute walk to the astrological clock and main tourist area. Tram station 4 minutes walk. Small supermarket across the street and large one 3 minute walk away. 100’s if restaurants to choose from within a 10 minute walk.
As a Diamond Hilton member I was upgraded to a suite on the top floor. Room was in perfect condition with an nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes, and separate bedroom. The only things I didn’t love about the room (and this is really minor). No usb plugs and the windows in the room were high so unless you stood up you couldn’t really look out. Of course this also meant no one could look in, so maybe it was also a positive.
We had a second room which was also upgraded from a standard to a delux room. That room has USB plugs but didn’t have the coffee maker. We were offered executive lounge access on the second room (which included breakfast in the main restaurant) for what worked out to be $30 a person and I decided to purchase that.
The executive lounge is open on the 8th floor. During the day it just has coffee and waters and soft drinks. From 5 until 7:30 pm they had a self service bar (liquer, beer, and wine) and very nice salads and cheese plates, etc. also a hot soup option.
Breakfast was a very nice buffet with option to order eggs from the kitchen. Very nice selection and outstanding service from the wait staff (every staff member we met was great). Everything was tasty.
Gym was an average hotel gym but I’m an early riser and it was good to at least get a small workout in. I wouldn’t describe it as anything special.
Even though a sign said that there wasn’t daily room service unless you requested it, our rooms were cleaned each day. And the WiFi was solid.
Anyway, this isn’t the Ritz Carlton or the 4 seasons. But if you usually like a Marriott or Hilton type hotel - well I am sure that you will like this.

+1
Had to stay in Prague for a few days for a business meeting. The work was all day long but the hotel and the location enabled me to get some great sight seeing and some great comfort. The hotel is very modern and clean with excellent service and a spectacular breakfast setup (I only ate breakfasts there). The room was a corner suite and therefore larger than most. The bathroom was updated and had wonderful water pressure.
The main highlight for me was the location, which allowed me to walk around Old Prague within 5-10 mns from the hotel. And even thought it was late at night (10-11pm), everything was beautiful and safe to walk around.
Compared to other hotel it was a bit more expensive but well worth the extra money. Will definitely stay there again if I ever make my way back to Prague.

We booked the hotel through jet 2 city breaks, when we arrived we were allocated a twin room on the 3rd floor, we asked if we could change to a double and this was done immediately for a room on the 4th floor, the room was extremely clean and functional, good size TV, comfy bed and a nice modern bathroom. One small criticism was the room wasn’t that warm even with the dial on the control on the maximum setting.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, the hotel is in a great location, we had a late afternoon flight and requested to keep the room so paid for a late checkout, this cost €50, we will definitely stay here again if we return to Prague.

I can’t say enough about my stay at this splendid, well located hotel. I was warmly greeted by the exceptional staff and given a complimentary upgrade to a suite as a Diamond member.
My room on the 9th floor was expansive with surprise plate of fruit waiting on me inside.
The rooms and hotel are very tasteful, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom excellent.
The location of the Hilton is perfect. It is walking distance to the attractions of old town, abundant restaurant choices, and an excellent supermarket across the street.
I was on my third week of travel and the Čistírna oděvů Daja just steps away did same day fluff and fold laundry at a price well below what any hotel would charge.
Breakfast was exceptional and the evening reception for Executive Lounge guests offered great complimentary beverages and food.
I would absolutely return to this hotel and wish I had stayed longer.

Wonderfully located for Prague old town. Walking distance from the astronomical clock, even closer to the municipal house. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Sound insulation is excellent, It is a bit pricey, very convenient for the main train station and the bus to the airport.

The hotel's general manager and team upgraded us to a junior suite for a week long stay at this hotel, which a pleasant surprise, greed by some wine, fruit & chocolates!.
The staff were very attentive, the cleaning staff seemed almost invisible and did a great job with the rooms.
The breakfast was very good (could perhaps offer more choice of egg styles, but not a big deal) and the executive lounge was a welcome haven after pounding the cobbled streets of Prague every day. One tip - take your walking boots!

When we were there in Mid August they had a lovely buffet breakfast. You could order made to order omelets and I think my husband even ordered an eggs benedict that were included in the buffet price. It was a great breakfast every morning.
