Room in loft basic can't see out of window unless standing on a chair, mini bar waste of time, tea coffee and sugar not replenished at all, tv ok if you're long sighted and want to only watch news repeating, only 1 English Channel out of 7, don't get your hopes up for a hearty breakfast and don't expect to...

We've stayed here for 4 days. The location of this hotel is really good only 3 minutes of walking to the old square and astronomical clock. We've liked this hotel because the room was cleaned every day the personal was really nice and the breakfest was very good. If you want to stay near the old city centre this is a...

I have stayed a week in this hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent 5 minutes walk to old town. And the price level is quite reasonable when you consider the location of the hotel. The rooms are nice. Despite the positives we had some issues with the cleaning services. They didnt changed the bed clothes even once in...

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a couple of days over the Easter Holidays. I have to say that I was quite impressed in general. The hotel is located on a quiet side street. It is within 5-10 mins walk of the old town. There are several supermarkets (which are very cheap), bars (one is directly opposite...

The good thing about this hotel is the awesome location, a few minutes walk to Old Town Square and the price was not bad at all. Although somewhat dated hotel, it was clean. Unfortunately, I was very surprised by the unfriendliness of the customer service. It did not start off well when we stood there for 5 minutes to check-in...

Best value we could find so close to the Old Town Square. Room was good, appreciated the opening windows and fridge in the room, even if we couldn't have tea and coffee facilities. Overlooked a quiet back street so sleep wasn't disturbed. Staff are polite if not especially warm but still helpful if required. Breakfast offers a lot of variety....

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
