Wow, this Hotel is amazing. Booked it for Two nights and it has an amazing vibe. The rooms are spacious and you will find most of the things you need in the room. Very uniquely designed and organized. Except the dental and shaving kits and iron box and board are not available . (maybe it's expensive for them) The breakfast is average actually, I'll rather eat outside than give them 20 euros for it. The reception desk is unique, I was attended by Mira, who was a little apprehensive and needed deposit and card details despite of having a card on file (your reservation desk confirmed the booking after I booked it via Expedia, so obviously you had my card on file). No other hotel in Europe has ever asked for my schengen visa copy but Mira had a doubt on me, howcome an Indian afford a four/five star hotel (at least that's what Expedia tells me about your hotel rating). The location is perfect and is close to everything in Prague. Also, why do you assume that if I'm staying solo then one key is enough? At least have the courtesy to ask please. Lastly, to Mr. Bartender and the gentleman along with him with Grey beard (I'm guessing, he's the manager and bar) , if you don't have a draft beer, say it. Don't tell me that it's time you upgrade yourself. I'm sorry but you have no right to talk to a house guest like that. It is my bloody wish to drink draft or bottle. If I can afford to stay in your hotel, I can afford the beer for sure. It's high time you guys realize that you are in service industry. Treating a guest well is your job, don't belittle me. I paid more for the room in one night than what you make in a week. So shut up and be more mannerful next time. Sorry Mr. Manfred Tobolka, General manager. Your poor staff ethics are forcing me to put such reviews. Trust me I loved your property.

I first booked a room at the Hotel Josef just before the covid pandemic. Then the pandemic hit and I was forced to cancel. Three years later I finally made my visit to Prague and got to stay at the Hotel Josef. The hotel is a hip choice in the center of Prague -- perfect for sight-seeing. I chose a Mini Castle Room, ideal for a solo traveler. The room is cozy but offers a spectacular terrace that overlooks the rooftops of Prague. Even better, the hotel will deliver a drink and/or breakfast to your room to enjoy on the terrace. The room offers everything you could want -- comfortable bedding, desk, robes and more. My room came with a terrific breakfast . . . a well-stocked buffet to meet most any taste, which I enjoyed in their breakfast room that overlooks an inviting outdoor space. Hotel staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. I loved my stay at the Hotel Josef and my visit to Prague. I plan to come back -- sooner rather than later.

Great location - 10 mins walk to main square. Breakfast buffet is excellent with fresh coffee and cooked options available. Our room was beautifully decorated in a modern style however there is limited wardrobe/drawer space. Lots of charge points which is a plus. Mini bar is free. Bathroom design is a modern glass cube. The staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble. After leaving and reconciling our charge we found that we had been overcharged for breakfast, however an email to the hotel was responded to quickly and the error was corrected and refund made to our Credit Card. We would stay here again if we visit Prague in future.

We had the pleasure to stay at Hotel Josef again after a gap of a few years. I already had a very high opinion of the level of services, as well as the rooms and the facilities in general. Five years could challenge these though, but not at Josef. Josef is a modern design hotel at a superb location, possessing all those values of hospitality, which are rare to find now-a-days. The hotel design has been refreshed since our last visit. Our stay was perfect. If I still have to highlight something, then it has to be the staff of Josef, with a ’there is no mission impossible’ approach; the rich breakfast and the clean, aesthetical design. You will be at home in Prague, at home in Hotel Josef.

This is a lovely modern hotel close to the old Town Square. About a 10 minute walk from metro station Namesti Republiki which is very handy as you do not want to be dragging your suitcase over Prague’s cobbled streets for any longer. Our room was great with a complimentary bottle of nice red wine on arrival, free soft drinks in the mini bar. Quality shower with Milton Brown shampoo and Gel.Breakfast is excellent-great choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and cold cuts plus your choice of eggs Benedict or omelettes-nice outside seating area too. We originally booked and paid for our room in 2020 but due to COVID/EasyJet cancellation couldn’t visit Prague until 2023.Hotel Josef were happy to roll over our booking for 3 years running-that is great service. Most of all this is a really excellent value Hotel.Highly Recommended

get the booking directly from the hotel (email) with very good options and understanding of our needs, also in the staying time. we stay 5+1 nights and the two rooms was very nice clean & maintenance. the room include tea, coffee and moka pot and mini bar with soft drinks (free). also, the breakfast is full of options (and very testy) and the hotel location is very good (old town but not in the busy street, close to the mall and metro line B).

This place is uniquely fantastic: stylish and friendly, perfectly located, not exorbitant and full of warm and imaginative touches. Free excellent croissants on offer through the day, a sun-filled fitness centre on the roof, nice flourishes throughout the rooms—and even an electric motorcycle you can take around town. Not to mention free drinks in the mini-bar as often as you want, a homemade map, a sunlit garden and a sleek and cozy bar. Prague is full of grand hotels a long way from the heart of things, and small places in the middle of the noise: this is a truly original place five minutes by foot from Old Town Square, close to trams and modern shops and not like anywhere else. One of the great discoveries of my 49 years of travel.

Nice and right I’m the middle of where the action is. They provide pickup services from the airport for a fee although beware my email confirmation of it ended up in my junk email. Not the hotel’s fault though. The Checkin was seamless and the staff is uber friendly. The room is a no nonsense room with water and juices on the house via a mini bar. I plan to be back.
