Hotel Josef is simply excellent choice if you want to stay in the center of Prague for couple of days. There is nothing I can complain about, my room was perfectly clean with comfortable chair, so I could work at computer. WIFI was working great whole time. And breakfest? Simply heaven, tons of food even with fresh fruit! It was...

This was by far one of the best hotels we've experienced in 20 years of traveling to Europe. Prices are mid-range -- very reasonable compared to larger European cities. The room was hip and fun. Breakfast was an amazing spread. Service was truly wonderful -- they could give lessons in how to make guests feel welcome. And just a few...

After my first stay at Josef's during the summer 2012, this is now my first choice for hotel in Prague. One thing is the elegant and fun design, but the service is the fact that really makes this hotel stand out. All of the staff, from the bar to the front desk and the breakfast room, do everything they can...

My wife and I really enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Josef. Not only is the hotel beautifully designed and decorated, but the staff were simply amazing. It is in a perfect location, a short walk from many of the sites. In fact we never used any form of transit in the 5 days we stayed there. The lobby...

One of the better hotels I have stayed at recently. We were having a group conference and the hotel put together a great package: the conference room we had was in the lower level but there is a small terrace and sunlight. There are amenities everywhere - you pass several Nespresso machines in public areas, conference rooms, guest rooms, etc....

I booked my last night in Prague at the Josef I was drawn to the simple elegant design of Czech architect Eva Jiricna. I was warmly welcomed at check-in, enjoyed the comforts of my room and excellent facilities on offer, like the business centre where it was so easy to make last minute flight arrangements and book concerts at near-by...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
