Had a romantic trip to this amazing city and the hotel was perfectly located at the stairs of the Prague castle. The restaurant served the best food, and specially we recommend the beef broth soup and the pork sirloin. The staff was very friendly and service minded. Also I want to point out the spa treatments and atmosphere in the...

We stayed during the weekend there. PROS Personal welcome with a drink, with an introduction of the hotel and Prague. Feeling pretty special. 701 is our studio, but it is outrageously huge, with a kitchen, a bedroom +living room and a bathroom. The bathroom is just too cool to be true, a cave and bubble bath together. The breakfast is...

Booked online directly with Hoffmeister Hotel and decided to stay at the studio suite of the Hoffmeister Apartments (right across from the main hotel) as the rate is better yet still comes with the 4-star services and amenities. Our room was on the top floor and is very spacious as it is a studio suite. The bathroom is huge and...

Just 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Fantastic atmosphere. Very nice and polite staff. I stayed in a deluxe room: very beautiful and well-cleaned. Very good sleep quality. The spa offers sauna and roman bath: a wonderful experience! Abundant buffet breakfast, with a wide range of choice.

My girlfriend and I just visited Hoffmeister & Spa and had a great time there. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. We were really happy with the breakfast which was top class. Everything was withing walking distance. Only negative was that restaurant and spa prices were a bit to the high end...

Visited Prague for a romantic weekend, 3 nights. Overall very positively impressed by the room, it smelled so fresh and new as it was recently refurbished, full marks on there. The Hotel is situated very close to the castle, some of the reviews were mentioning rooms being quite noisy, our room was just little too hot (better than cold) so...

Visited Prague between 12-16th Jan 17. Flight (easyJet) and taxi (hoppa) fine however the hotel was closed!!!! No advance notice. We got relocated after much fuss and stress, to the other side of city. Promised compensation when we were there but nothing was received, not even free drink! I did write and complain (in England) and hotel offered me 1free...

Beautiful hotel. Located very close to Prague castle, is an excellent option to explore the old city. The suites are amazing and the hotel is one of the cleanest we ever found. Staff is friendly and professional. Strongly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is right next to Prague castle and within walking distance to all the tourist attractions, it is next to the park with stunning views. We were at the front of the hotel with stunning views of Prague, yes you can hear the trams especially when window open however we didn't feel this was...

The good: The hotel is perfectly situated, literally at the foot of the castle steps and only a 10 minute walk across the bridge to the Old Town. The staff are mostly friendly (a couple of grumpy exceptions), very helpful and knowledgeable about Prague. The communication prior to arrival and during was first class. The taxi to and from the...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
