The hotel is not really that impressive from the outside and to be honest I think it does need a lick of paint. Inside is a different matter, the reception is quite small but neat and tidy and well presented. The staff are very helpful and really polite. The bar and eating area's are very nice and the breakfast superb,...

Spent a great week here with my wife. Good sized room, spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. Great service from the welcome drinks on arrival to the wave off when leaving. Located at the bottom of the Castle steps, this hotel is highly recommended.

I recently stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 nights, we had just got engaged. From the moment I first made email contact to the minute we left I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. The suite we stayed in with its own Jacuzzi was incredible, the pictures do not do it justice. The food was lovely, and it...

My girlfriend and I stayed here to celebrate our 1st year together and for my birthday. We arrived earlier than the check-in date and the Hotel staff took our bags to a secure room, gave us a map and gave us a nice route to walk whilst they prepared our room. We were lucky enough to catch the changing of...

I booked this hotel as a part of surprise for my partners 30th birthday ..i chose this hotel mainly because they had a great spa deal on. Offering a car service from and to airport for a little extra is a great addition, leaves you without worries about the transport and adds a bit of luxury on a special occasion....

I stayed for an entire week this time, while doing business. This hotel is excellent, gorgeous. The staff is very warm-hearted and personal which is much more touching than any over-the-counter friendlyness I experienced in other 5-star places around. The location is very special, quite, but in the middle of traffic, close to the Metro and Trams, thus close to...

Well located hotel close to prague castle and the charles bridge. The other side of the river to main tourist attactions, so slightly quieter but with some excellent bars and restaurants locally. The rooms are unique with excellent facilities. The staff are friendly and very helpful and have good english and will help your organize local trips if you so...

We stayed for 4 nights in the Hoffmeister and had a lovely time. The staff were very welcoming and happy to offer advice on good places to visit in Prague. Our room was a little dark but was very spacious and the bath was massive. We slept really well despite the traffic going past but probably wouldn't be ideal if...

This is a compact hotel that aspires to be a big hotel. It sits on the corner of one of the main arterial routes. Location is OK as it is close to the Metro both for the airport or head in the opposite direction into the city centre. Breakfast accommodates most nationalities and service levels cope well with the high...

The Hotel as a building is nice, also the interior but not what I'd define as 5-Star. booked the Chateau Suite, which was ok. Jacuzzi water left stains which were probably rust from old or unused pipes. Room service did a good job cleaning. Beds were large and comfortable. The room was clean and 2 well working ACs/Electric heatings are...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
