My fiance and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June. Overall the hotel met our expectations and it was in a great location for walking to all of the sites and many places to eat and drink. We didn't use any transportation (except the taxi to/from the airport) as it was so easy to get around -...

This hotel is somewhat shabby. But the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean, but worn. Wifi works best in the hallway, not at all in the diningroom. The walking distance to downtown is perfect. Palladium shoppingsenter is right around the corner. You must try the Indian restaurant on the corner, K The Two Brothers.

It's a nice little hotel which is about a ten-fifteen minute walk from the old square, although the tram/ bus was just up the road if you didn't fancy the walk, we never used the public transport but it looked to have an excellent and regular service. We stayed bed and breakfast, the room was clean although a little on...

We stayed at the Hotel Bila Labut for 4 nights, the whole thing was booked with jet 2 as a little city break for me and my girlfriend to enjoy. Prague is a fascinating city and I would 100% recommend going. As for staying at the Bila Labut well To describe it as a luxury hotel might be a push....

This was a pleasant, very clean hotel within easy walking distance of the main city centre attractions. The rooms were well appointed. My only criticism was the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms although the public areas had adequate ventilation. The breakfast was good with a considerable selection and plenty of food. Besides breakfast the hotel did not serve...

Hotel was ok, more of a 3 star than a 4 star. Staff very friendly and they made us feel welcome. We found that we were getting a lot of stares from the people in Prague so our trip wasn't a very pleasant one. Beds are not too comfortable and plug sockets very loose. Shower and bath ok. Room comes...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
