Situated at the end of Charles Bridge, this boutique hotel could not be better placed for a visit to Prague. Tastefully converted, it now has sleek, modern lines throughout. Tea and coffee are available all day (and night) in the breakfast area, as well as in your room. My room was spacious and comfy in a modern style. Breakfast had continental meats and cheeses, breads, cereals, yoghurts, fruits and not a bad attempt at a "full English". If you're visiting Prague, this hotel is well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced.

the perfect spot to stay in Prague.. away from the crowds of old town...and a minute to Charles Bridge. Guiseppe was so kind and wonderful, with a welcome drink, and helpful hints. so many great restaurants nearby. spotlessly clean. amazing buffet breakfast with prosecco...The hard working ladies staff were constantly replenishing the eggs, fruit, etc. always smiling.

I must say I am very disappointed in what I have encountered. I have booked a single room. The room given to me was room T 1 ( located in the old tower). The room is the size of a ship cabin- very awkwardly shaped and set up. A small window faces internal small area, completely build in between the other walls. The over all feeling is that you are in a prison cell. Second problem- the room is located at the end of dining area which has high ceiling and marble floor. The sound bounces and magnifies. Once ppl start eating breakfast- forget about sleeping. Lastly, the access to the room is via steps only. If one has a large, heavy luggage ( 32 inches high and 50 pounds in weight) - this is a problem and you be better prepared for this reality. On the positive side, the room, as small as it was, offered double, comfortable bed - which was critical for me. The location is very good. Very close to central attractions ( bridge) and other - yet despite location and constant crowds, the noise level was very low - particularly in comparison with my next hotel in the old town. The room was clean. The reception was helpful. If need be, luggage can be stored for free. Food was decent- buffet style. Unlimited access to a commercial coffee machine ( making different types of good coffee). Over all, the place is decent but nothing spectacular by American standard.…

This hotel is at the western end of the Charles Bridge, in a little dead end. The location is great for walking over to the old city and visiting the main sites. It's also a couple of blocks from a tram stop, where we were able to get transportation up to the Prague Castle, or over to the old city. Nearby is a laundry/wine bar, enabling us to pack with minimal luggage. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was super modern. The hotel offers a free breakfast with eggs, meats, all sorts of bread, fruit, yogurt, juices and delicious coffee, everything you need to start your day. A good choice!

We selected this hotel based on its amazing reviews. For the most part, they are well-founded. It is a lovely hotel, with clean and spacious rooms. The included breakfast is nice, as you don’t need to run out in the morning. We arrived a day late due to storms impacting our flights. Although we had booked a refundable stay, we were less than 48 hours out when we contacted them to let them know of our flight issues (obviously). We’d hoped that they might be able to rebook the room for the night, as we had contacted them early in the morning, and it was a Saturday in high season. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to try, leaving us to pay for the night. I understand that those are the rules even with the flexible rates, but it would have been nice if they'd made an effort. On our arrival, we learned that there was no elevator to our room (a tower room). The person working the front desk helped by carrying one of our bags up the stairs. Notably, we had selected this hotel over another based on the availability of an elevator. It would be helpful if the website clarified that not all rooms are serviced by the elevator. Tower rooms (which I presume covers any “family” room) are not. Instead, there is a spiral wooden staircase to the first floor, and then you open the door to the room, and immediately inside is another spiral wooden staircase. At the top was a small landing. Straight ahead was a bathroom, and to the right was one step up to the bedroom (with a door). Through the bedroom was a small “chapel” room, which was pretty cool. The room itself was clean and spacious. Plenty of room to walk around even with the sofa bed open. The sofa bed was reportedly good for sleeping. The main bed was super comfortable. A lot of character to the room, with a painted fresco on the ceiling. The bathroom was modernized. The water pressure in the shower, however, was medium-to- low. In one way, the room was perfectly set up for a family, with lots of room and a sofa bed. However, in other ways, it was not very “kid-friendly.” My daughter tripped on the spiral staircase more than once because of the varying widths of the boards, and the fact that some protrude (a bit warped). In addition, the path from the bedroom to the bathroom runs next to the staircase, and we feared that one misstep in the dark would lead to a fall down the stairs. We considered leaving on the bathroom light overnight, but it was too bright and there was a loud fan that ran whenever the light was on. The first night, we heard some noise from music playing outside. We were surprised at such activity at 1 a.m. on a Sunday night. Fortunately, we were able to block out a lot of the noise by closing the bedroom door, as it seemed to be coming in from the other side of the building. Breakfast was a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, mini pain au chocolat, and small pastries. Scrambled eggs. A coffee machine (that was also available 24/7). Finally, I must caution against using the hotel’s recommended taxi service. We had read a number of articles and reviews describing issues with overcharging by taxi drivers. As a result, we decided to use the hotel’s taxi from the airport, which was offered at a fixed rate of 800 CK (about 34 euros). From what I understand, all taxis from the airport are now fixed price, so we didn’t feel that we were gaining anything except the comfort that we wouldn’t have a nondescript taxi driver and the driver would already know the route to the hotel. We were pleased to find him waiting for us when we arrived at 9 p.m. after a long day of travel. The ride was pleasant enough, but when we arrived at the hotel, he asked for cash payment. We did not have the local currency, so we offered euros. He said that the price was 75 euros, which is over twice what it should have been (34). At this point, I insisted on using a credit card to pay the 800 CK fixed price, and he reluctantly pulled out his card reader. We assume that he was counting on us not knowing the exchange rate. Obviously, it’s upsetting to feel that the hotel taxi would try to take advantage of people in a vulnerable position, having just entered the country after several days of travel. I had planned to give him a healthy tip, but decided against it after he tried to charge us more than double what the price should have been. I travel extensively for both work and personally. In all my years I have never had the type of greeting, level of service and helpfulness that I received from Alice. After the long flight from the US, her welcome was appreciated more than words can say. I typically travel without plans and figure it out as I go so I'm not tied down to anything. She spent quite a bit of time finding out the types of things I was interested in and then offered quite a variety of choices. When I came back at the end of the day she was there to greet me and ask how the day was. She even offered to make dinner reservations for me at a restaurant that was booked because she knew the manager. The meal was amazing. This morning when I came down she had already printed the menu of food that will be on the train that I am taking to Budapest. After suggesting several places to go for a concert, I chose one for this evening. She is going to make the reservations and even the arrangements for me to get to the train tomorrow. Alice has made my vacation better than I could have imagined. I heard a gentleman from the UK telling her that he traveled around the world and had never had an experience checking in like he had with her. The hotel is centrally located steps from the Charles Bridge, I was shocked how large the room was. They have a beautiful breakfast buffet. What a delightful gem. We stayed for 3 nights. It is in a perfect location just steps from the Charles bridge. Our room (#13) was spacious and spotless and very quiet. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and the lobby snacks in the afternoons. The best part was being greeted and taken care of by Alice at the front desk. She really made us feel like our comfort was her mission. We highly recommend the Bishop Hotel Prague and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the beautiful Bishop's House for three days in July 2023. We were greeted at our entry by Alice Kovarova at the front desk. In all our travels, we have never been treated and welcomed so professionally and graciously! The hotel was perfectly located, the breakfasts each morning were wonderful and the staff very attentive. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a wonderful, small balcony with beautiful views of the city. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff was excellent! The Hotel arranged for a driver to transport us to and from the train station. We give the hotel and especially Alice the highest possible rating.

A good hotel with a great location just at the end of the Karl bridge. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Breakfast is really poor and basic.No fresh orange juice, same cake for a week etc etc. Reception could be better.. we asked to book a rrestaurant nearby for dinner and the concierge confirm it, but unfortunately there wasnt.. Anyway overall a good experience
