The location was perfect on the old town square. Staff was great, free internet, couldn't ask for more. Love the free breakfast, would definitely go back.

Easily the best thing about the Hotel Cerna Liska is the location – it’s right on the Old Town Square, yet set slightly back so that you’re not bothered by noise. Our room (102) was on the first floor so we didn’t need the lift although there is one). Room 102 was actually three rooms – a reasonably sized entrance...

This hotel is everything you could need for a stay in Prague. We stayed in room 103 which is a great room with views of St Nicholas Church and The Old Town Square large and airy (even the bathroom looks out on the old town square) The beds are two singles pushed together but very comfortable. The rooms have tea...

This hotel is in the perfect spot and within walking distance of all the main sights, The room was big and comfortable. The service was great and staff very friendly. The breakfast is very basic and I would recommend this as a great base hotel.

Small hotel in the excellent location. Most of the stuff are helpful, however you can be treated unexpectedly icy by a single individual there. That in addition to the sporadic lack of the hot water can ruin your overall good impression about this hotel. If you are going to Prague when it warm and sunny, possibly you can overlook this...

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. Asked for a room with a view towards the Old Town Square and got it. Reception was very helpful and friendly. The standard of the hotel was ok, but not what I am used to from a 4 star hotel. Still felt that we got a lot for our money though. Big rooms...

What a find, booked on the internet for three nights for approximately $300 AUS. Cerna Liska is a small old hotel nestled in amongst the many beautiful buildings of various sizes located around Old Town Square. Our room was on the second floor facing the Square where from our bed we could watch the lights changing colours and formation on...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
