This hotel is just next to Charles bridge and is therefore very good value for money at 30€ pp for a double room. All the sightseeing is within walking distance and it is also very easy to go to the airport by public transport, which costs 32 Crowns per person (1€) as opposed to taxi that costs 27€ per taxi....

We arrived about 10pm in the evening & received a friendly welcome by the gentleman on reception who advised us which eateries were still open. We are quite happy with our first floor room & it was cosy, clean & quiet & had everything we needed, including good internet access. We stayed for 3 nights & I even became used...

I couldnt belive when reading some tripadvisor opinions about an unfreandly treatment. I booked the room for my mum's birthday as a present, as she had never been in Prague before. The pictures of the hotel were extremely impressive. I reserved the accomodation just 2 days before the arrival. When we stepped in, the concierge was smiling and said without...

We had two rooms on the third floor of this hotel and I just loved the decoration and cozy feel of both of them. They were impeccably clean and had all we needed including tea making facilities. It was a pity there wasn't a stand-up shower, but the general niceness of the bathroom and room made up for that. Breakfast...

We stayed at this hotel in one of the rooms on the top floor. The room was in a converted attic, super spacy, very cosy and if you lean outside the window, you could actually see the Charles Bridge down the street, which means that the location of this hotel is extremelly good, right inbetween Prague old center and Prague's...

An excellent location for getting to see many of Prague's top sites. We were in room 207 which was a good size with a modern shower room. Breakfast with ample with plenty to choose from and good service throughout the hotel.

This hotel made a wonderful base for exploring Prague. The Charles Bridge was only steps away, and the start of the walk up to Prague Castle was also very close. The streets adjacent to the hotel had interesting shops and restaurants. Our room was very large and quite clean and quiet. Breakfast was ample and attractive. The internet connection worked...

You could not get a better location for a hotel it is only yards from the main bridge, it was a very clean, quiet, quaint hotel. Staff were nice and pleasant. Main door is on a side street so need to look carefully for the entrance.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
