The Hilton Prague is celebrated for its abundant amenities, including a striking pool, state-of-the-art gym, and various dining options, though guests suggest the food can be pricey. Nestled near tourist hotspots and public transport, its location is a hit among visitors. The hotel's ambiance is warm and welcoming, thanks to live music and plush rooms, which, alongside the entire facility, are kept impeccably clean. While the staff's friendly service is widely acknowledged, some guests have experienced delays. Room comfort is generally applauded, though the air conditioning has received some criticism. Opinions on value vary, with some guests questioning the costs.

Wonderful rooms, location near the river, and amazing breakfast.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.

Enjoyed the location because it was a short distance from the hustle/bustle of the heavier amount of tourism. Also next door to a pharmacy, drug store and supermarket for any needs you may have.

Breakfast is one of the best we have had anywhere, with many possible selections of breakfast options.

Stayed here for 4 nights and was generally impressed. The reception staff are an asset to the hotel - so friendly and willing to help. I was welcomed back as a diamond member and upgraded to a suite on the 7th floor. The hotel is right by the Vltava river and about a 20-25 min walk into the Old Town Square.

The Cloud 9 rooftop bar is a great spot to view the sunset over Prague Castle but the price of the drinks means you are paying a premium for that view (over £6 for a 0.4l beer). However, the staff there are also great and the service was perfect.

The Executive Lounge was closed (Coronavirus was given as the reason). I do think that the “replacement” which they give to guests is unacceptable though. One drink voucher a night does not replace a full service lounge with drinks and snacks.

The room was spotless as you would expect with the Coronavirus measures that had been implemented. Housekeeping had to be requested (which I did on the last day as I had run out of towels). I was disappointed that housekeeping didn’t provide any cleaning to the room - not even the new towels I had asked for. Quite clearly a housekeeping fault as I saw the lady on reception put into the computer that I had requested service. If they ask you to request the service, the least they could do is provide it! However, that is a minor issue though and I’d have no hesitation in staying here again.

This hotel is located in a very quiet area of Prague. On walking distance to two metro lines (about 6 minutes) . 1 stop away from the main train station. Walking distance to two supermarkets (Albert and a Billa) and a pharmacy. In overall the location is great. My main issue was that on arrival the policy of the hotel had changed and was a let down. Because this kind of changes I prefer to know before hand specially if you stayed in the hotel before and they have all your info. So the policy change is that now the Gold member tier does not have access to the executive lounge unless you go to a room with access included, or you are upgraded to have the access. My decision to stay on the hotel was because of that previous experience , if I knew it before hand I would have chosen a different one because it would have fit my needs better.

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing the feedback with us. I would like to kindly inform you that it is according to the Hilton Honors terms and conditions that the Gold member does have access to the Executive Lounge only when the room is upgraded to the Executive Floor. Please note that the upgrade always depends on the actual availability. I do regret that the information was not perceived well. I still do hope that you will give us a chance to welcome you back because we do appreciate your loyalty. Warm Regards, Karolina Hankova, Guest Relations Manager

Hilton Prague is one of the worst hotels i’ve ever visited. Service is very bad, rooms are too small, and so dirty. Bathroom and toilet were separated. Cleaning lady didn’t show up for two days, so we have to use the same towels for 2 days, also minibar in our room was changed after 5 pm. We couldn’t open the window in the room, which was covered by the spider web!!! Since we came on new years eve, parking in front of the hotel was full, and the only place were we can leave our car was the place that is not even parking place, we didn’t even know that there was garage, since no one told us that. Even thought we did’t parked our car in garage, we have to pay 30 euros per day. In loby bar, there wasn’t enough wine as well as other drinks, so we couldn’t drink what we want. This hotel is huge disappointment, we expected more from Hilton.

THIS IS NOT HILTON!
I have stayed at many different Hilton hotels all around the world. Nothing comes near this one. We check in on Sunday 01/08/2021 14.05 pm, the reception tells me rooms are not ready before 15.30-15.45. And she tell me that normail check in is 15.00 but they have been busy, I show here my reservation wich clearly shows check in is at 14.00 she simply reply by shaking her shoulder up and down. I assume she means "It is what it is" This would never been happened in other Hilton. I was shocked. But chose to be positive and ignore it.
They ask about cleaning and use the 'Covid excuse' that they don't clean everyday if not necessary. I tell them clearly I want cleaning every 2nd day. I'm on day 6 and had cleaning only once, after I had to complain 3 times at the reception ( becouse they never answer telefon from room service)

I tried the pool once, they register name at entrance , to make sure the pool is not crowded. The sign above the pool says clearly 28 people max. I count the people in the pool. There is over 43 people. So crowded! I get my kids and gets out after 5 min.

Breakfast
Many in review talks about the descent breakfast. I definitly seen way better breakfast buffet than this one.
The exact same buffet everyday. and pretty crowded! you would think they solve the problem in a nice way. Here is what they started doing on Friday the 6/08/2021
They had chairs and tables in the lobby. And separated the restaurant. So once the restaurant is crowded, you get to sit at the lobby, with even a smaller buffet, no chef making omelet, and half of the selection of the already boring breakfast. And no you are not able to enter the main buffet, even though you payd full price! Unbelievable!

I had reserved 3 rooms at the hotel. One for my family one for my parents and one for my sister. By mistake I paid one extra morning buffet but I was checking out at night so I wasn't going to use the breakfast, I ask nicely if I can use the breakfast for another room insted so that my parents can have that one day breakfast insted.(Breakefast in the lobby😄) NOPE! not possible at all. The most ridiculous hotel and service I have ever seen.
I'm leaving on Sunday and hopefully never getting back here again. That would be 1cleaning day in 7 days.😄
Not 5 star hotel at all.

The location of Hilton Prague is very good for walking to town or taking train. the breakfast is excellent with many choices. However the elevator system is kind of inconvenience when you carry your own luggage to the room. the tour guide told us that we can drink the water from the tap in Prague hotel because the water system in Prague very clean, but that is not true. There is a lot of chlorine in water. you can buy water from the super market next to the hotel.

My family booked the Hilton hotel in Prague (not Hilton hotel old town) for Christmas. On arrival the hotel is very spectacular after recent refurbishment. The rooms were very nice, clean & comfortable. The bars were spectacular especially the roof top bar & the sports hop house bar.
The walk to the centre of the old town is about 25 minutes but well worth the walk. We also went on a Christmas Day river cruise, which was probably the highlight of the trip.
The town centre is extremely busy but well worth the visit including the Charles bridge, the castle & the clock tower for the best views.
The only negative points is that you could be ripped off at any point including individuals selling worthless currency outside of the hotel & all around Prague, taxi fares doubling especially from the airport, ask the price beforehand & watching carefully currency changing when buying especially in the “Christmas market”.
The Czech currency is the Koruna but they will take Euros but the exchange rate is bad especially taxis.
However we all enjoyed the trip I just would like the Czech people to smile a little more, if you think it’s a cheap place to go think again.

It’s our first time staying in Hilton hotel and my family was satisfied and really did enjoy our stay.

My son personally loves the swimming pool and the happy hour offered between 17:00 - 18:00 in the executive lounge. For someone who loves drinking coffee, access to the free drinks (coffee, tea, soda) from 11:00 - 20:00 was a great perk that I enjoyed in this hotel.
Aside from this, my wife loves the steam bath/sauna offered in this establishment too.

Though it was not the King Executive Suite that I was expecting. It was indeed a 2 connected regular rooms where the other room has been converted to be a separate living room 😬 Despite of that, the room was big and we had enough space to roam around. The living room has a sofa bed, dining room and a lounge chair. In addition, both rooms have a flat screen TV, toilet & bath where the bedroom has the bathtub which my wife loves. Both T&B are provided with complete bath amenities including body lotion and slippers.

For the breakfast, it is the typical breakfast offered in most of the EU hotels, I would say a combination of English & American breakfast.

With regard to safety, we’re happy that they are indeed strict with the safety protocols related to COVID-19. There’s someone who is checking your corona pass to make sure everybody’s/everyone’s safety in the dining room. Thumbs up to that 👍

Location wise, it was not in the city center but walking distance to the major tourist attractions. Few minutes walk to the old & new town and to the Prague main train station. Very close to the boat pier/station. All though the 5 days of our stay, we never spent a single penny into public transportation as we just literally just walk to different places.

Staffs are indeed friendly and always welcoming to their guests. At least, I haven’t seen anyone not smiling but rather they are always ready to give you a warm smile and greet you.

I would surely recommend this hotel and we would definitely come again!

The hotel is conveniently located close to a Metro station, the old town, and the central train station. I received an upgrade to an executive room due to my HHoners Diamond status, which was a nice gesture. My request to get a room with a view was denied because „all our good view rooms are presently not in use“, which was rather odd. The room was basically a renovated standard room on a higher floor. I did not expect any welcome letter or fruit platter, but there was not even a bottle of water, something even 3* hotels provide nowadays. Breakfast was good with a separate section for Gold and Diamond holders. The Cafe Restaurants was rather underwhelming with expensive and very average food. The same beer costs thrice the price at the next door hotel beer garden. The executive lounge was closed, and the executive corner at the restaurant offered just soft drinks and coffee/tea, and peanuts/pretzels. From 5-6 a Happy Hour with beer and wine. The corner closes at 6 pm! Overall a poor compensation for the closed lounge.

We stayed here in December, the hotel was under some construction but it didn’t bother us as we were using this hotel as a base to explore beautiful Prague. Great location, we used the black cars outside the hotel to get around as it was more convenient and they wasn’t overly priced – it is about 20/30 minute walk into old town square.

Due to being a Gold Member, we got complimentary vouchers for a drink in the sky bar, which was absolutely amazing - a must do!
The executive lounge was also very good.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, such wide variety.

Would definitely return.

Thank you

The hotel is not close to the Old Town area(which is where I would think the Christmas market is) - it's a good mile about a 25 minute walk. With that said, It is a really great place to stay and is close to a lot of public transportation. We loved the included breakfast and it's very quiet.

I'm not sure if there is self-service laundry(ie., washers, dryers), as to the laundry service, I would email the hotel for a price list. Considering that it is Prague, prices may be more reasonable than say Paris.
