Neighbourhood
Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with ambulant disabilities, with steps up from the main door - steps to the lift and steps from the lift. Mini bar was just a bottle of water (charged for) two cans of juice and a few nibbles. Basically ok and 3 star says it.

Dear Moatazade, Regarding your question about how to arrive at our hotel by public transport it will be a pleasure to explain you the easier way. From the Airport you need to take the bus number 119 and you need to go to the bus stop named Divoká Šarka, in there you will see the tram line number 20, wich starts from there !, so just take the tram number 20 and it will take you directly to the tram stop named Hellichova, were the hotel William is. It will take you arround 40 min to 1 hour to get to this station from the Airport. And it cost 32 Kč (czech krowns) its the price of the ticket for a public transport valid for a hour and half. Kind regards from Prague! Jana Drbohlavová Hotel William Manager.

Dear Guests, Our Hotel William does not have air conditioning in the rooms due to the historical nature of the property which is protected by the national laws and don't allow us to remodel the rooms in this way with the air conditioning. But during this time of year, the weather allows to keep the windows open during all day. Kind regards from Prague, Jana Drbohlavová
