From first arrival [with airport pick up done by the hotel] the welcome at reception was faultless We were given so much information and a map which was invaluable for our stay. The breakfast was so much too choose from and very tasty, we had one evening meal on our last day which was faultless,(with 10% discount) all staff were attentive and friendly would definitely stay again if visiting Prague.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just returned from hotel Pod Vezi and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. ALL the staff, without exception, that we encountered were kind, helpful, courteous-couldn’t do anymore for us. The hotel is a beautiful old building central to explore Prague. Our room was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. There were nice touches such as chocolates, small bottle of Prosecco etc that appeared in our room as a surprise. We stayed bed and breakfast, breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The excellent customer service continued even when we returned home and emailed the hotel querying an issue we had with transport when travelling back to the airport-absolutely nothing to do with the hotel but they were happy to help. Our experience at Pod Vezi was a strong 10/10 and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel-even if just for the staff alone! Thank you Pod Vezi for your kindness and help whilst we were in Prague.

This is a beautiful small hotel which is central to everything. The staff and service are top notch and breakfast was excellent. The hotel recommended tours and provided transportation from the airport and train station all at a reasonable charge. Right next to Charles Bridge, the location reduces the amount of walking which can be tough on cobblestone. Great place to stay when visiting Prague.

Difficult to know where to start in praise of this hotel. Seven of us came for three nights celebrating wife’s big birthday . We were met at reception by reception staff Jivi and Alex ( my spelling) they were the most welcoming staff I’ve experienced. So helpful, so informative nothing was too much trouble! Great recommendations by them. We went on river cruise for an hour. Excellent value. The hotel is in amazing location. Right at the end of Charles Bridge. Everything is at hand. Breakfast is fantastic with so much choice. The hotel every day spoils you with treats of sparkling wine/chocolate etc. great touches. I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel and staff. Five stars for everything, large rooms, cleanliness everything. Hotel treated wife to bottle of birthday fizz.Plus before we left gave us all a voucher for a crepe and coffee at their crepe restaurant around the corner. I would not go anywhere else when we return to Prague. Brilliant hotel

First, at check-in, the reception was very welcoming, and took time and attention to share important information about our stay, places to visit at Prague, some tips and recommendations; she even accompanied us to the door of our room which was located just across the main building. Our room size is just nice, some sweets are there, water is strong, safe is available, and beddings are comfortable. The hotel is located literally a few steps away from Charles Bridge; oldtown, Prague castle and the sights are walking distance. Restaurant tries to give its best, one can make its own waffle and juice. Be aware, that breakfast is served at 7:30 am, although you may get something if you wish to have a bite at an earlier time. There is a place at the rooftop where we can get a view of Prague, which is amazing. Check-out was smooth. The only thing which was not okey for our experience, was that the room we had do not have an airconditioning, it was a just a rotating fan. We didnt have enough sleep because it was rather warm. Aside from that, the hotel is great, staff are wonderful.

We stayed at Hotel Pod Vezi at the beginning of September 2023. We were welcomed by the reception staff which were very friendly and they took us to our room which was right across the street . The rooms was spacious and had all the aminemeties needed. Lovely view over to the main building and the Charles bridge. Although the hotel was almost on the Charles bridge we never felt it crowded with tourists, so basically very peaceful but just couple of steps (literally) to the Charles Bridge. We used the free enterance to the Charles tower (offered by the hotel) which had very nice views over Prague. The breakfast buffet was very well excecuted with wide variety of contintental styled buffet, offering a wide selection of fresh options. We always ate outside, right next to the Charles bridge wall which really made the authentic experience even better. Mimosas were also a nice touch :) We enjoyed the Rooftop terrace a couple of times in the afternoon, not a big space but can accomodate any group. There you have a nice view of the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. We also ate at the restaurant one evening which we can also recommend. All in all , this was truley an excellent hotel in a lovely location, truely a value for your money, and will recommend to all my friends and family !

Fantastic selection of a wonderful Hotel in beautiful Prague. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They greeted us when we arrived with big smiles and gave great advise for restaurants, nightlife, boat trips, views, and activities. The breakfasts were exceptional and the cappuccino was spot on . The restaurant Pod Vezi at night was Fine Dining with exceptional and friendly service. The hotel and staff made this trip so memorable and with so many fond memories, thank you. 5 Stars.

We had the most amazing experience at Hotel Pod Vezi. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant staff. These folks are genuinely kind and really want to ensure you have the best possible time at their hotel and also in their beautiful city. The gentlemen at the front desk offered good tips to help us on things like the best ATM machines for exchange rates, what average costs for taxi's or Uber's should be and also helped us with good local restaurants which were all delicious. I was having back and leg issues and wanted to get to the Beer Spa, they arranged everything and made it as easy as possible for us. The beer spa by the way is no joke and I highly recommend it! I felt a thousand times better after. The location of the hotel is ideal, in a little nook right next to The St Charles Bridge, the rooms are comfortable and were spotless, with incredible views from many large windows. I needed extra firm pillows and in minutes had a knock on my door with a few of them. The restaurant is quaint, and the service was perfect. The breakfast that is included is a good variety of items and was delicious. Oh and one last fabulous little treat, the rooftop, they mentioned it when we checked in and I have to say was one of my favorite ways to relax after walking the city, we would all meet up there with a cocktail and chat and laugh and take in the views. I would absolutely stay there again; it is a lovely boutique hotel with tons of charm, and I hope to someday get back there.
