Hotel Pod Vezi is 4* boutique hotel and it is set in two historical neighbouring buildings: It is located in the city center right beside the famous Charles Bridge! Despite it is located in the most attractive and visited area of Prague it is proud of its unique quite and calm charm...
A friend recommended this hotel, and she was so right. It's right at the foot of the Charles Bridge but away from the chaos of the city center. Our room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was sumptuous. Best of all, the staff was so...More
First time in Prague and it was fabulous. Hotel's driver from airport was pleasant and pointed out some sights on the way.
Hotel is literally at foot of Charles Bridge and is within 15-20 minutes walking to virtually anywhere you want to visit. Our room...More

We could not have picked a better location. We were there for 5 days and found someplace to walk every day. The hotel is at the foot of the Charles Bridge, a tourist attraction in itself, an easy walk to Old Town Square and walking...More
Prime location at the foot of the bridge. and walking distance to everything. We stayed in the annex and the room was very spacious with a newly updated and equally spacious bathroom. The breakfast was by far one of the best of our trip to...More
Not quite sure where to start, this has been one of the best hotels and service that we have ever had.

Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Our room was on the fourth floor of the annex , by necessity it had a dormer window that cut into the standing up space on one wall. The room was still of sufficient size for a king sized bed, two night stands and a wardrobe all along one wall. And it had a huge bathroom. I don’t know how that compares to the other rooms in the building, but I would call the hotel and ask. We were extremely happy with the Pod Vezi.

Very easy. There is a bus outside the terminal which you take until its terminus, which is also the station at the start of the Metro line. I can't remember the station name, but it will be clear if you have a map. There is a Metro station less than 10 minutes walk from Hotel Pod Vezi. Whole journey takes about 40 minutes. You buy a ticket valid for 90 minutes at the machine in the terminal building, which covers bus and Metro for the duration of your journey. It's very cheap - costs about £1.20
