The main house is from around th century and you can realy feel it. I loved the rich breakfast. The parking is possible right next to the hotel for extra charge. The Carles Bridge is...

We stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. It's a lovely old house right in the middle of Prague, but tucked away so very quiet. We had a suite - hallway, 2 bedrooms (both very large) and a bathroom. Adequately clean, very comfortable night's rest, friendly staff and great breakfast (bread, meats, cheeses, cereals, eggs, yoghurts, fruits ... vast!)....

Excellent pension, the people there are so helpful. The rooms are clean and orderly, and just what a budget minded traveler would appreciate. Breakfasts were typical Continental style, with cereals and boiled eggs as extras. Lots to eat and kept me going until nearly dinner time. I would definitely stay there again.

Too expensive for a B&B.The girl welcoming us is cute and friendly though. This pension needs renovation , the water for shower was only lukewarm, which cannot be tolerated in October. Room is spacious but not clean enough.

Although we stayed at the Pension Dientzenhofer five years ago the experience still lingers as a bright spot of our many travels. The staff was cordial and efficient. The room was immaculate and comfortable. We had an outstanding view of the charming courtyard. The location was superb: gently tucked away from noise, yet accesible to everything. Breakfast enjoyable in the...

The Pension is located in the Mala Strana section of Prague, a stone's throw away from the Charles Bridge and in a quiet neighborhood among foreign embassies. The Pension is hidden from Nosticova Street and is gated, so you have to ring a doorbell and have the front desk person open the gate. My room was a pleasant surprise -...

Llike mentioned in earlier reviews, this pension is located in a very quiet area, but at the same time very centrally located. Minutes walking to Charles Bridge entrance in Mala Strana, and to the tram stop. It is an old building from the 16th century, and very charming. Clean, comfortable and staff is always eager to help. Excellent breakfast also....

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
