This place is perfect for exploring Prague. It is on the edge of the Old Town and two minutes walk from Florenc metro station. The staff are helpful and friendly. The price is around half what you'd pay in some of the places in the Old Town, it is comfortable and easily accessible, with a lift to its fifth four...

We booked this place last minute as our previous accommodation fell through. We stayed for four nights & it was perfect for our needs. It is on the 6th floor of the building & the lift only goes to the 5th floor, so there is one flight of stairs to carry your luggage up. We were travelling with a two...

We booked online late (had to change plans suddenly due to illness), and were very pleased. Good, locked parking for 12Kr/day. Staff speaks very workable English, and are friendly. Our room/suite was on the top floor, so a reasonable/easy walk up one flight of stairs from the top floor of the elevator. We had 3 beds for 2 parents and...

The biulding is old and stable, on the roof floor are located the rooms with wonderful view to the castles!!! As a young couple we enjoyed our stay a lot! The appartment is clean and has everything you need: clean and big bathroom, doble bed, fridge, nice view... the location is genius! Just 5min walking distance to the "old town":...

This is an older style B&B in a fantastic part of the city, around 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town Square. Its location is perfect for exploring Prague. Florenc tram stop & underground station are only moments away, as is the International Coach Station, where you can catch coaches to all parts of Europe. The room was large, with...

Not in the safest area, 5th floor of office block pitch black hallway. Deserted and looked like an old apartment from the Cold War. Mystery doors in the room that could not be opened. Did not stay in the room as did not feel safe

We spent 5 days in this comfortable place: a very large room a the top of the building, with big windows and a lovley terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The apartment and the private bathroom were very clean. The pension offered every day a self service breakfast in the fridge. Perfect position, near the station and the...

The small and almost hidden pension on top of an office building just outside the Old Town in Prague has it all; nice, spacy, clean and comfortable rooms at a very decent price and an impeccable service. Very happy to come back again.

Family members referred us to this great place to stay. The size of the flats/rooms (not fancy but very comfortable) is huge and surprising if you look at the price you are paying. Pension Unie is located on the top (6th) floor of an old building On Tesnov street, close to the Hilton Hotel. It is also literally just a...

went here for a long weekend around new year. Nothing really wrong with the pension, but with no services, old fashioned rooms, no tv, self made breakfast and having to pay for water and juice, the high season price is too high for the value

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
