The 1st impression being the reception desk it is a shocker. But by the 3rd day they were a bit more friendly and helpful. Having come from Vienna & Bratislava where the people are friendly this certainly hits you. The rooms were decent and toilets modern. The beds and pillows were good. One problem was the cigarette smell which is...

There were 13 of us away for a hen weekend and we picked the City Club hotel through Easyjet. We didnt have high expectations of the hotel because the price we paid was below £100 for 2 nights, which included flights aswell. We were totally surprised with the quality of the rooms, especially the cleanliness. Top marks for the modern...

Ok, this place was quite good. The prices are low and the place is easy to reach, not that far from city center (for the whole trip we didn't use buses or metro...just walk. Prague is quite small. The hotel is not far from the Museum and in the street u'll find a couple of pubs and lounge bars (I...

I stayed at this hotel with my parents and we were unsure what to expect after reading some of the reviews on here but it was actually not bad at all. I will start with the location. Ok, not the nearest hotel to the city centre but if you are willing to trudge around a city all day then the...

Hotel was always kept clean. i.p pavlova metro station 5 minute walk away and the whole city is in reach. 100 crowns (about £3) will get you a 24...

Stayed there from 14th-16th February 2008 for Spurs game. Pleasantly surprised. Nice, spacious room. New bathroom/shower. Nice breakfast area with a large choice - sausage/egg, cereal, fruit, rolls, baguettes, selection of cheeses and Ham; toaster, juice, tea/coffee etc. We found it to be excellent value [£15 per room per night in total].

After reading some of the comments on this hotel we were a bit scared of what we were going into. However, when we checked in & went to our room all our fears dissapeared. The room was quiet large & clean. The staff were ok. The location wasnt bad, although the walk back to the hotel is all uphill. Breakfast were...

Although my girlfriend and I had a nice weekend away, I'm affraid all those negative comments about the City Club were all true. The staff are RUDE, FROSTY and haven't got a clue...
