The is such a great place to stay. Steps from Old Town Square and easy access to anywhere you want to go. The breakfast was really good, lots of options, from hot eggs, to cheese and meats, to pastries. But where this hotel excels is its awesome staff. Really friendly and so helpful. This hotel is a gorgeous spot right in the heart of the old town. Walking distance to everything, and literally around the corner from the astronomical clock. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. Lovely welcome gift of chocolates. The breakfast was very good. There was everything you could want including champagne. I really enjoyed this hotel. Excellent value for the money.

Lovely staff and a great location right on the square and in the heart of everything . The receptionist let us into our room early which was so kind as we had arrived on a very early flight. Great choice at breakfast. Hot,cold and really nice cakes and pastries . Nice room and bathroom

Fantastic four night stay. The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of the old city. While the area gets touristy the hotel’s location means quick access to the other side of the river, the Jewish Quarter and other areas. The hotel was beautiful and my room was large and nicely furnished. I did face the street but the noise was nothing unusual for a large city. The room was very clean. The bedding and pillows were just right. The staff were fantastic and very helpful from arranging laundry service to providing restaurant recommendations to help finding city guides. The breakfast was so-so and could use some improvements but there was bread, cheese, and coffee when I needed it. I tended to go to a place around the corner that had fantastic coffee and breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when next in Prague.…

Pros: The hotel is perfect for location easy to find next to the Astronomical Clock if turn left you head to St Charles bridge turn right takes you to Wenceslas Square plenty retail shops. Hotel very quirky used to be an Ironmongers in years gone bye, the rooms spacious and comfy beds altho single beds are small. Cons: Breakfast not good my 2 teenage children could not eat anything the bacon swam in fat and was hard/cold the sausage not good and the eggs like rubber (that was every morning) so only stay if you prefer continental breaky altho the salad was wrinkled been out for days. But toast and jam ok I struggled to make decent cup of tea. Ask for room on inside we had ours on street side and never slept because the trash lorry seems to turn up hourly horrendous, I should have realised when saw the complimentary ear plugs. If could have room inside on room only basis perfect. …

I greatly appreciate your comments about the outside noise - we are convinced that with closed windows, hte noise is limited to the minimum, so I feel really sorry there yet was something to be heard. For the aspects of the breakfast that need to be improved, we are trying to keep the breakfast different, variable and colourful every day, I am really sorry you have not found much you liked - our teas are imported from United Kingdom, so I always supposed them to be a good option. Very beautiful old hotel. Excellent location. The staff was so nice and helpful both before and after our stay. Spotlessly clean-- and breakfast had lots of options. The week we were there it was pretty warm and normally I keep our hotel rooms cool-- but unfortunately I was informed that the AC was off since the heat was on ( it was in the upper 60s most of the time we were there.) The hotel is situated right near old town square and it gets very loud at night between the " hotel" bar/restaurant and Hard Rock right next door, which meant that I couldn't have the windows open for air. That's my one complaint. Overall it's lovely, but was difficult to sleep because of the lack of air in the rooms. The hotel's restaurant apparently recently changed and the bar staff, although friendly, were unable to make a decent cocktail. We did not try the restaurant, since there were so many others in the area and better options. …

We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful stay than provided by this perfectly located hotel in the heart of Old Town Prague, just 3-4 minutes from the famous astronomical clock, less than a 10 minute walk from Charles Bridge, and well connected for public transportation. Our superior double (room 222) was spacious and overlooked a lovely square. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was a desk, table with chairs, nightstands, small frig, and air conditioning! The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was strong and provided plenty of hot water. The included breakfast offered a wide range of delicious foods and drinks, both hot and cold, including a table of cakes and pastries. But what really set the hotel apart was the wonderful staff, especially general manager Jana Budinska and front desk clerk Radim, who both worked to find the perfect room and arrange the requested bedding when we didn't care for the first room. Staying here added tremendously to our visit to Prague. …

This hotel is in an old building and has a terrace with wonderful views of the old city, where it is located. The room is a good size, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very complete and very tasty. The staff are very kind and friendly.

Hotel Rott has to be THE best hotel in Prague. Location is around the corner from the Old Town Square and Astronomical Clock. Jana, Dalibor and all the staff at Hotel Rott ensured my Wife's Birthday present will be one she'll never forget. An amazing room in a stunning hotel where all the staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
