This was a business trip so having a good night sleep is important. It's no the prettiest hotel, but the location is perfect for getting around the city, if you want a quiet room ask for one at the back. Staff were pleasant enough, but if you have any queries they struggle to accommodate or be flexible. Great selection of...

I stayed one night and was travelling for work. Wifi access was terrible, almost non-existent. I needed an iron, but they had already loaned out all they had to the guests- they offered to send housekeeping up in the morning, but I was departing at 6:30am, so that wasn't an option. I had to try and get the wrinkles out...

The hotel is well located for shopping and sightseeing purposes. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the entrance and lobby are very uninviting. The lobby is almost non existing and gets very crowded. Non of the following accurately describes the type of trip. I was travelling with my adult sister.

Perfectly positioned above Wenceslas Square near the National Museum and on the Main Road (directly across from an M&S AND a good Irish bar - Rocky O'Reilly's) the only real drawback was noise from street digging work (from 8am!) so ask for a room on level 5 if able. Out the lift there are Non-Smoking rooms to the left and...

Although the décor may be slightly dated, we found the hotel very comfortable, with a pleasant room (6th floor, rear). Breakfast was good, and what you'd expect from a buffet in this type of hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Sited in the centre of Wenceslas Square, the hotel is perfectly situated for trips around the...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
