Nice room, newly renovated. Clean, friendly staff and front office representetives very helpful. Going under some renovation to upgrade the hotel and even though under renovation its very quiet, no noise what so ever. B'fast has been good with diffrent choices to choose from. All in all it's been a comfortable stay and close to old town, within walking distance.

Booked a room here for my partner and I from the 16th feb 2017 for just under a week, and although the hotel was under going some additional refurbishment work and there for the bar was not open for our stay there, we were offered discount vouchers for the restaurant. They offer amazing good quality food at a good price...

Worst experience in a hotel. First day they didn't have warm water. Second day I found out they closed the spa a gym cos they are under construction. And then ...no room service after 23:00.the service sucks and I don't recomend this hotel at all.

The hotel - close to the old city and nice views over the river if you get a nice room. The room itself nicely equipped modern ikea style minibar coffee etc. Hotel staff should be more quest centric - waited a long time at the bar since cleaning glassed appeared to be more important for the only person there. Service...

I visited this hotel in February 2017. The hotel is clean, all staff is friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and modernly furnished. What I really liked was a spatial solution. From my bed I could see the river and the park on the opposite side. It must be a wonderful view in summer. I enjoyed all my meals...

This was a disappointment. On the positive side, the staff are very friendly and tried hard, but were mainly young and untrained. The room was OK, for a 3*. Apparently the place is being refurbished, it needs this urgently. The balcony was more suited to a housing project, the décor was very 1970s and impersonal. The restaurant was more like...

I stayed already many times in this hotel. And now, when almost all rooms are refurnished it's simply excellent. Breakfast is excellent, staff very useful. There is only one problem - they don't have enough parking places. So, it's strongly recommended to have a reservation for a parking as well.

I had an extremely comfortable stay at the Hotel President. This hotel is ideally situated on the banks of the river to the north of the old town, and my room had great views of both the river and the park on the hill. Check in was smooth and polite, my room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, extremely comfortable, peaceful...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
