Location of Questenberg hotel is special for its breathtaking view on the entire city of Prague. Within moments you are able to reach Prague Castle (approximately 5 minutes) and other most visited Prague's sites such as Charles Bridge, Lesser Town and Old Town square. Its unique placement gives you infinite options how to plan your journey in Prague. Only steps from our hotel you can enjoy the calm of Petrin park which is the biggest park in Prague and it is a pleasant place where to spend end of your day with an evening walk from the town. The building was built in 17th century and it served as a formal private palace to Sir Caspar Von Questenberg who was a German priest, Abbot of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Sometimes the building is misinterpreted as a church, because the architecture is very similar to the one found in Strahov Monastery which is located only 2 minutes of walking through our terrace restaurant. Our hotel is suitable for clients of all ages, families with children, couples, wedding occassions or business trips. Staying in hotel Questenberg will give you unforgetable memories and will definitely make your stay in Prague even more enjoyable.

Detailed Reviews
Front desk staff was amazing. Blew out the fuses in the room within 30 minutes of checking into the room, which they fixed immediately. Let us charge our phones in the lobby while we waited. Fresh bottle of water with room cleaned every day (nice in the historic heat this year). Great hot water pressure in the shower, coffee maker in the room, free coffee and refreshments in the lounge (or apparently restaurant if you're so jet lagged you can't find the lounge and ask for a coffee). Fast wifi, very quiet at night, comfortable beds. Quick check in process, and good recommendations for things.

The hotel is situated beautifully at the top of the hill, views from the dining area over Prague were simply stunning. The breakfast we had was unbelievably good, I don't think I will ever get poached eggs cooked to such perfection again. There is a balcony in the rear of the hotel which has views both of the monastery and over Prague and is they perfect place to relax on an evening time with a drink or meal. The hotel itself isn't your standard hotel, being part of the Monastery complex its design is stunning, its walls thick with high wooden beamed ceilings. The staff were fantastic and went out their way to help wherever they could, supplying us with plug adapters (we'd taken the wrong ones) changing our transfers, drawing maps and giving directions. Nothing was too much for them, evening checking out at 6am they had a smile on their face a d were happy to see us. The rooms were very quiet, with the exception of the bells ringing from the nearby churches which cerrain wasn't an issue as it was a nice authentic feel to Prague.

Room Tip: The hotel is at the top of a big hill so if you struggle on your feet then probably not the hotel...

We enjoyed a city break in Prague this weekend and having been before, we wanted to stay in a nice quiet neighbourhood but close enough to walk everywhere. And what a find we found. Questenberk is a small boutique hotel situated at the top of a hill beside the monastery and very close to Loretta and Prague Castle. It is in a historical building that was once part of the the monastery and only has a small number of rooms. Our deluxe double was clean, quiet, comfortable and just prefect for our weekend away. The staff are great; friendly, helpful and service is excellent. It’s a b&b place and the dining room has the best views of Prague as my pics show. Breakfast is excellent with everything you could need and the service exemplary. Lovely place.

Questenberk Hotel is a very special place near Prague Castle that offers stunning views over the city. A former monastery (built in 1620) that has been wonderfully restored and converted, it offers guests peace, quiet, and luxurious accommodations near the city center. Our room was very clean with the most comfortable bed as well as spacious. The staff could not have been more friendly, giving us valuable dining advice. The hotel offers breakfast, but if you decide to go elsewhere, there are other options nearby. You can also walk into town in 10-15 min. If your feet are tired, take the 22 or 23 trams that stop nearby.
There were no negatives during our stay, but I would like to remark that the floor sloped in our two rooms due to the age of the building. If you are unsteady on your feet, you need to be careful.
All in all, a fantastic stay. I would not hesitate to return!

This boutique hotel is very modest and quiet. We stayed in a basic room, which was more than adequate with a well stocked bathroom, a comfortable bed , plenty of storage, a mini bar, and tea and coffee facilities. Reception staff were helpful and friendly.
It is a short walk to the castle district, which has plenty of bars and restaurants plus the wonderful castle itself.
It's about a 30 minute downhill walk into the main town but you can get the 22 tram which has a stop at the top of the hill to the left of the hotel . The Strahov Monestry which has a brewery and restaurant, is just about the hotel and is well worth visiting. As is the Petrin Tower which is a beautiful viewpoint that is well worth paying for.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend the Questenberg, both as a place to stay, as a great base, and for the quiet surroundings.

We did a week long European trip visiting Prague for 3 nights and berlin for similar.
Our good experience started even before we’d arrived. We booked online and the hotel were quick to check we were ok, what we needed, what we wanted recommending etc and they recommended the most gorgeous restaurant. We told them our flight time was arriving approx 11am and they accommodated an early check in. The gentlemen who checked us in was amazing, his customer service skills were some of the best we’d experienced. Offered wine, water and juice, and whilst we checked in there was a lady making sure we felt comfortable. They tried so hard to speak English. He also made sure we had a map and pointed out lots of places to go, also telling us lots of little tips like don’t take taxis unmetered, and how to get places. Our room was gorgeous, the hotel is just beautiful. Everything we could have wanted, don’t be put off by the fact it’s out of town - it’s a 15 min walk down to town, and Uber can take you back up for £7. It’s an amazing way to see the city, they have. Bar and a lounge, the lounge even has free pastries at 4pm: if we come back to Prague we will stay here without a doubt and would send our closest family here. We are so grateful for their hospitality and kindness, Prague is a beautiful city and we can’t wait to return. This hotel epitomises Prague, and is an absolute hidden gem, not least so reasonable! We cannot thank you enough x

Wonderful hotel up near the top of the hill north of the river, close to monastery and castle and a gentle walk down to the Charles bridge and old city. We felt extremely well looked after in historic and really comfortable surroundings. All possible amenities provided. Great breakfast, top class service.

Questenberg Hotel is an outstanding hotel! The staff are friendly, incredibly helpful and very professional. Our luggage didn't arrive and the concierge helped us figure out public transportation to the nearest mall so that we could buy some clothes. Any time we needed to use public transport, she gave us exact directions including how many stops we would go. The hotel is in a quieter part of the city, which we really appreciated. After sight seeing and being in crowds of tourists, it was really nice to come back to a peaceful neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and very clean. We will definitely stay here again!

This Hotel is the best I we have ever experienced. The staff is extra friendly and helpful. There's a guest lounge with homemade cakes and coffee with an excellent view over Prague. The Breakfast is marvellous and the view is over the City and the River Vltava is amazing. There's a big variety of food and drinks and the breakfast is accompanied by this wonderful jazzy music and the hall is decorated beautifully in baroque style.
The room is wonderful. Cozy, warm, bathroom light is very good for make-up. The morning Tea variety is wonderful and also a coffee machine and a mini-bar round up the experience. Bed is A 1. No sleepless nights anymore!
Overall experience: The only Hotel that makes you really feel at home!

I'm not sure it's possible, because I think that breakfast room is not open as bar during the day. But you can ask to the property they are very kind and for sure they will show the space.
Hi. The cost is 800 Czech Crowns (aprox 30 €). You have to arrange the booking with the hotel in advance giving your name, arriving time and airline. The driver is very professional and the taxi is comfortable ( we were fortunate to enjoy a Mercedes). The drives waits you with your name in a paper for you to identify him.
It's about 15 Euros pro person, and it's very good.
That, I don't know. The hotel offers transportation to and from the airport in a Mercedes sedan with very professional drivers. I highly recommend them. Just schedule it in advance.
