I booked my room via Agoda (and paid for it in advance) When I came in, I was told at the reception that the room hasn't been paid for. I was a bit surprised but after a few minutes I decided to just pay for it again (I was tired then and I thought that maybe I haven't actually paid...

Stayed here with a friend in Summer 2015 during her interrailing trip. It was one of the first few hostels I've visited but I've now seen many more! It was clean and affordable but the facilities were very small, not much room for socialising outside of your room and the kitchen was pretty small too. Staff were friendly enough but...

I spent a weekend at Ritchie's hostel with a friend. The twin room was a great price for the location which was right in the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was a lot, 25 euros for a day, and wasn't close to the hostel but I guess you get that wherever you are in Prague. Overall, good...

We stayed there last February for a weekend. The hostel was surprisingly good and at a very interesting location - you need to pass through a tourist shop in order to reach the entrance. Our twin room was clean, spacious and very quite, despite the fact that the window was looking at the main street leading to Charles bridge. It...

Stayed here in February 2016. I chose it, because last year my friends were staying also in this hostel. So. Amazing location - 5 minutes to Charles Bridge, 7 minutes to the Old Town. Lots of museums, galeries, shops, bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants around. Fair, budget price for this city and for this location. Booked with my friend 2...

We booked a double bed with private bathroom. The room was large by European standard, with a large window for fresh air. It was also clean. Our room was one end of the hostel, so there was no Wi-Fi signal, and we needed to walk to the dining area for Internet access. Internet is reliable. They have a small kitchen...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
