I stayed in this hostel with my friend. The localization is perfect, really close to everywhere. It looks good, clean. We had situation that someone ate our food we left in the fridge and they gave us refund for one breakfast. I can complain only about two things. The lady who was on the reception during our check-in did not...

Really beautiful hostel - couldn't believe the room when we walked in given how little we paid! Such luxury. One tip - there are many supermarkets on the street the hostel is situated on. Don't be fooled - there are no prices on the food there and the staff charge what they want (as obvious tourists we were very ripped...

Yesterday we found a guy sleeping on our corridor. Today he was sleeping there too. We told the recepcionist the second day and she didn't knew it. And it is relative easy to go inside the hostel. Furthermore we booked a 4 room and it was just a part of a 8 room. There is no door and you have...

Hello, thank you for your feedback and I´m personally very sorry for the discomfort you had during your stay. The guy sleeping on the corridor wasn´t any homeless he was a member of the bigger group of students staying at our hostel at the same time. He came late at night without the room key and he unfortunately didn´t come...

I have no idea how this hostel is rated so highly. It is dirty, dingy, and unfriendly. The atmosphere is depressing and they do not have enough showers. The staff seems annoyed when you show up to check in. 4 bed room turned out to be a 12-14 bed room (not sure exactly) that was connected --- all smells included....

Hello, Thank you for your review. It seems everything was bad and smelling...bathroom, kitchen, beds, other guests.... I really don´t know what to say. It is just interesting we received hunderds reviews and nobody rated our place this way. But I agree the situation in the room depends everytime on the respect of other guests and roomates. We clean the...

We stayed in room 23 for a night and it was quite pleasant. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom was clean. There were no mosquitos. Location is quite good too 5 minutes to bridge by walking. I'd surely stay there again!

This is a warm and welcoming hostel, at a great location and with beautiful facilities. Small lounge, room with tables, kitchen, fine showers and even a bath (if you are smart enough to find it). Beds are good, much space between the beds, nice wooden floors, fine lockers. Kiss, Arpacy!

If you have wheeled luggage you're not going to like the uphill walk as it's not a short walk. It's quite steep and like a lot of Prague, it's cobblestones. It is located very near to a lot of tourist attractions, so departure time on the streets is hectic. Narrow footpaths and busy streets are fun to navigate. There is...

Two of my friends and I stopped in Prague on our trip around Europe, and we were very satisfied with this hostel! Definitely one of the best hostels we had stayed at during our trip. Nice and helpful staff, filling breakfast in good praise (buffet style), not far from city center Elevator reaches only to the 3rd floor and if you live on 4th you need to carry your luggage over there by your self.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.

The dorms share 2 toilets and 2 showers equipped with a hair dryer. The bright and spacious 12bed dorm has a stunning view, an originally painted wooden ceiling, and is probably our nicest room in general. The large 16bed dorm with private bathroom is a great deal for travellers on a budget. At 56 square meters, it is large enough to be comfortable and the beds are situated in 3 distinct rooms that offer sufficient levels of privacy.
