Detailed Reviews
We came here for my girlfriends birthday and stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were very polite, happy and welcoming! The hotel and rooms were very clean and were cleaned thoroughly daily. The staff were also very helpful with any questions that we had.
The hotel is in an ideal location for seeing any sites, restaurants, bars, etc, all within a short walking distance. If we were to come back to Prague then we would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay at Hotel Leonardo!
The one thing I would say that caught us out was you had to pay a fee for the mini bar which the hotel held and returned back to you at the end of your stay about 3000czk (€113). There is also a city tax that has to be paid at the end of your stay which works out about €1.50 a night so it's not to bad as I was expecting worse!
I definitely recommend the Hotel Leonardo.

We stayed at Leonardo hotel for 2 nights, the hotel is well situated as it is 3-4 min from Charles bridge, 8-10 min from center and all the attractions there. The 2 ladies at the reception were very helpful, the room was spacious, warm and everything you see at the photos is what you get. Breakfast was good, enough to fill you for the rest of the day, maybe some more croissants.....(they had them only the first day). Also some bars very close to hotel for local beers and very reasonable prices.
Overall a Good stay!!

We have enjoyed a two night stay here having booked following recommendations on this site, we were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay the staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed with incredibly warm powerful showers and such comfy beds, just what you need after a busy day walking around the city. Breakfast was varied and provided something for everyone. Can’t fault this hotel for location, service and comfort, would definitely recommend.

Was in Prague for a long weekend, our stay was exceptional. Rooms where clean and tidy. Staff where all very helpful and full of suggestion for places to visit. We asked for a later check out and was given it with out any problems. We did not eat at the hotel. Hotel location was great with walking distance to most of the city, and good connection from the main train station, about a 20 min walk.

Spent 5 nights here on the way back from Amsterdam to Budapest cruise after catching a train from Budpaest. Check in service was friendly & helpful. We had a few issues initially as the first room allocated still had guests in it even though we had arrived late in the afternoon. We were allocated another room which we found unsatisfactory as the walls came in on us at angles as it was near the top of the bulding. We were then allocated another room below ground level which was spacious but served the purpose for one night. We would not have liked to stay in this room any longer. The next day we were allocated a spacious room for the remaining 4 nights which was excellent. Breakfast covered in our tarriff was excellent every morning with obliging and friendly wait staff. Hotel very handy to all of what Prague has to offer. The following 2 staff members were very helpful to us & recommend them as they provided excellent service going above the level to please being Kobie & Djamel.

+1
From the moment my friend and I walked into this hotel, we instantly clicked with the lovely Mohammed who was behind the desk. This hotel had that old worldly style to it and it was an absolutely beautiful hotel that exceeded our expectations. We stayed for 4 nights, we found the location to be perfect and the staff met every request and nothing was too big or an issue. All staff were lovely and easy to talk to and they actually enjoyed the conversations with guests. Breakfast was fantastic and they even whipped up requests of food that was not laid out. My room had a Romeo and Juliet feel with a large balcony looking into the courtyard which I loved and had a kitchenette area, huge bathroom with amazingly soft big towels and an amazing king bed with lovely bedding. Although they did have renovations going on, it did not interfere with us at all. Mohammed assisted us with everything down to the best tours, bookings but it was his friendly welcoming nature and kindness that we were both drawn to. The location was perfect and right next to the bridge but even the middle of town with the celestial clock was no more than a 5 to 10 min walk. The only complaint I had, was that we were only there for 4 nights and after easily falling in love with Prague and the hotel, we were both very reluctant to leave. We both look forward to 2025 when we will hopefully be able to stay here again and unwind in a place we both felt like was heaven.

Dear Ms.Sydney. Thank you for sharing your review of your stay at this hotel. It sounds like you had a truly wonderful experience from the moment you arrived. The friendly and welcoming nature of Mohammed at the front desk made a lasting impression on you and your friend. The hotel's old worldly style added to its charm and beauty, surpassing your expectations. It's great to hear that the location of the hotel was perfect for your needs, and the staff went above and beyond to fulfill your requests. The fact that they were easy to talk to and enjoyed conversations with the guests speaks volumes about their hospitality. The breakfast provided was fantastic, and the staff even accommodated special food requests that were not part of the regular spread. Your room sounds lovely, with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, a kitchenette area, and a spacious bathroom with soft, luxurious towels. The comfortable king bed and beautiful bedding added to your enjoyment. Despite the ongoing renovations, it's commendable that the disruptions did not affect your stay. Mohammed's assistance in arranging tours and bookings further enhanced your experience, but it was his friendly and kind nature that truly stood out to you. The hotel's proximity to the bridge and other attractions, like the celestial clock, made it convenient for you to explore the city within a short walking distance. Your only complaint was that your stay was too short, as you fell in love with Prague and the hotel. You expressed a strong desire to return in 2025 to experience that heavenly feeling again. Thank you for sharing your positive experience, and we hope you get the opportunity to stay at the hotel again in the future. Kind regards. Abdelrahman, Front office supervisor.

Do not use this hotel, they cancelled my booking and 3 of my colleagues travelling from the UK the day before we were due to travel. Coincidentally my colleague travelling from France was ok. They offered us their sister hotel which was miles from the old town. As it was so close to our travel date and we wanted to stay together we felt we had no choice but to accept their offer. They gave no explanation. The new hotel was far cheaper yet rather than have the cheaper cost they tried to keep it the same and pass it off as a free upgrade with free evening buffet. 1 why would a single person need a 1 bed apartment and be eating in the hotel when I would be in the old town. It was only down to the fact I did some research that we got the going price for a delux room with breakfast. It seemed to be they didn’t care and just wanted to maintain their income level. I am a forces veteran as are my colleagues. The way the hotel acted was terrible. On a plus note Prague is great the Hotel Duo were they moved us to was miles out of town but we could get on public transport though the metro stopped at midnight so had the extra cost there. The staff at the Duo were great

Dear valued guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand that last-minute changes can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may require us to make adjustments. We did contact you one day before your arrival, offering a Family Apartment that included breakfast, and we appreciate your choice to opt for a Superior Room at a lower price. We're a bit confused by your negative comment since you confirmed your stay in our sister hotel under the upgraded conditions. Nevertheless, we genuinely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Warm regards, Elena Nechaeva Deputy Manager

First the good. Hotel is in a fantastic location right on the river and next to many of the tourist sights in town. Room was clean and the furnishings looked new and were comfortable. Bathroom was larger than average and updated. Bed was comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and robes/slippers were provided. There is a pretty glass atrium courtyard in the center of the hotel that will likely be very nice once renovations are finished.
Now the bad. The room was windowless, in a motel-like arrangement facing a windowed hallway. This was unexpected and the room descriptions could have been more clear that by not selecting an upgrade to a room with a view meant no window at all. Claustrophobic and no way to get fresh air. The AC did not appear to work. The door facing the hall had a frosted glass window with an inadequate curtain, so you get light in from the hallway lights all night making sleep difficult.
The hotel was also under renovation so the windows in the hall faced construction and it lacked amenities. There was some construction noise. There was as a surprise no breakfast facilities at the hotel, despite what other reviews have reported, and I was told at check in these were closed due to the renovations. There was no notice of the renovations given at or following booking, which felt misleading.
You do not get front door access and instead must buzz in via an intercom for the staff to open the door. The front desk is in the basement a level below the street entrance so anyone entering the building can do so if they tailgate without passing the front desk, which felt less safe.
There is no shampoo or conditioner provided, only a multipurpose liquid bath soap/shampoo combination product. This product did not work well on hair. Recommend bringing your own.

Me and my teenage son stayed for three nights at Leonardo Hotel Prague in February 2023. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Location is excellent - not far from The Charles Bridge, the Jewish quarters, Stare Mesto, and other points of interest in this very walkable city. We both loved our quiet, quaint, spacious and super clean room with both a sitting area with kitchenette and a sleeping loft with wooden details and an attic window. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots to choose from for both a teenager and his mom.
A special thanks to Alina and Hendrix - reception staff, who gave us the most friendly welcome and helped us with ticket reservations and recommendations of places to see and places to eat. You made this stay something extra!
We would recommend this hotel to couples, families, history bugs, and business travellers. We would love to stay here again next time we go to Prague.

The hotel is in a great location and very central, less than five min away from Karluv Most, which makes reaching different sight seeing places on foot very easy and I enjoyed walking to and from the hotel in the old part of town. Everything was great about my stay, the room was clean and comfortable & the hotel has a cozy interior design with candles lit in the evening. I really enjoyed eating delicious cheesecake, served at the breakfast buffet, while basking in the morning sun in a quiet courtyard inside the hotel. My special thanks to the hotel receptionists Alina and Muhammad who were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with any questions!
