I stayed there for 4 nights. The hostel is very easy to find and is located within a walking distance from the I.P Pavlova metro station it also has very good connections from and to the Airport. Rooms were quite big and pretty clean. Reception is open till 20h. If you need a towel you will have to give a...

Residence V Tunich is possibly the best hostel we stayed in on out whole trip! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond for us! The location is in a quiet area and we could easily walk into Prague in 15 minutes. The rooms are lovely and clean and there is a great communal area where...

I booked this place after reading positive reviews about it on Booking.com. However, once I got there, I was quite disappointed. The floor was dirty, had biscuit crumbs. The shower space was very very small and the door was broken. The room I booked was a three bed apartment and there was only one window. The window was broken, I complained...

The hostel was a good price for where it was located, 10 minute walk from the main train station and near the centre. We dealt with 2 people who worked there during our stay, 1 woman was lovely and helpful, always rushing about doing something, the other was less helpful and didn't really chat with us at all. We were...

Cheap accommodation near the train station! We were pleasantly surprised how nice and clean this super cheap hostel was. Big dorm with a kitchenette, the bathroom had a tricky door. Ground floor room wasn't the best because of noisy neighbours. Tip for coming from train station: don't take the first street leaving from station, go one block right, that way...

All tourist destinations are in walking distance whereas charles bridge is a bit far. Cleaning is ok. The girl in the reception Alena was very nice and helpful whereas the other guy in the reception...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

“It depends from traveler to traveler you know... someone doesn´t mind if there is a lot of noise and others mind... So if you mind choose room to a side of hotel that is not on side by street. But for light you don´t have to worry ... there is a lot of light, and if is too much for you there are blinds and curtains. Have a nice trip :)”
