This hotel is a great property - modern rooms, lots of space, excellent breakfast made to order. Although it overlooks Old Town Square, it was still very quiet. Our only problem was the concierge. We had emailed them in advance asking them to book two dinner reservations, and when we arrived, I asked them to reconfirm. It seemed like a...

Dear Karen All I can say to this is that I am sorry. I still do not understand what happened but I understand your frustration. I have had a talk with them to make sure that better procedures are set to ensure this does not happen. They are all very nice and mean well, but in your case they underperformed....

Excellent hotel in prime location to see the best of Prague, the rooms overlook the old town sq with all its entertainment plus the hotel restaurant was excellent food & service. The rooms are massive with great views to relax whilst listening to the day time music in the sq. The night time can be a little noisy so may...

Don’t miss this little hidden jewel. Its in a 900 year old cellar just off the Old Town Square, and below the Old Town Square Hotel, the rooms are intimate and romantic, the food is truly wonderful, the live jazz is a s good as you’ll hear anywhere, seriously, he’s great. It’s not a tourist trap, on the water with...

This place is just as fabulous as the pictures make it look. Tremendous value. Our in room breakfast (included) was wonderful. We felt very spoiled. And everyone here is so friendly and helpful with big smiles to share each time we interact. The location is so charming! The square is fantastic! My only hint would be - if you're a...

Dear Sir I first and foremost want to apologise that we did not meet your expectations and I am sending an email to you too to see what exactly caused such a disappointment. I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived in Prague. I booked the hotel online after reading the great reviews on TripAdvisor and the price was extremely reasonable and affordable. I honestly expected a basic little hotel room so you can imagine my surprise and sheer joy when we opened the door to the room. It was spacious and...

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and its charm during our 3-night stay. We selected the Old Town Square primarily for its location right on the square and the fact that it could accommodate a room for three travelers. The room ended up facing the square with great aerial views of the crowds and the clock,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
