We loved absolutely everything about the hotel, our suite with the balcony was huge and worth every single penny! Sitting in the evenings watching the world go by made our trip. The staff are amazing, they really can't do enough for you, the breakfast is delish and such luxury in the comfort of your room. The location was perfect, the...

Located on the Old Town Square, this hotel is right in the middle of the most vibrant part of Old Prague, and from our hotel room we were able to watch it all unfold. The house was built in the 18th Century so the rooms are very spacious and historic, while the furnishings and bathrooms are very modern, and everything...

Old Town Square hotel is located in the heart of Old Town. Our room was very large with a view onto the square. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Since the hotel itself is old, there is no elevator. There is also no exercise room. However, you can use their sister property just a 5 minute walk away....

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The location to everything is wonderful but be warned there is no motor-vehicles allowed in the Square, so once dropped off (or picked up) on the outskirts of the Square you have to make your own way (with your luggage) through crowds, over cobblestones to the hotel, then go through a restaurant, buzz in to...

The town square in Prague is truly spectacular. The architecture is amazing and there is so much to see! Lots of museums, food stalls and cafes add atmosphere to what is an incredible area in Prague. The astronomical clock attracts many people to the square and they wait in anticipation for the stunning clock to chime on the hour. A...

This was my umpteenth visit to Prague but the first for my older sister and her husband so I decided to try a more centrally located hotel for them, and also reserved two junior suites facing the Square. After four nights there, I am truly baffled as to why the hotel is not ranked higher up in the list of...

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for only one night. This hotel is perfectly placed in the Old Town Square. Our junior suite allowed us an up close and personal view of the Square. We in Prague the Sunday before Easter Monday, and the Square was bubbling with activity. It had quite a festival feel!! If we ever return to...

My husband and I stayed at this lovely luxurious roomed hotel for four nights. To our delight breakfast was served in our room and we chose our menu from a host of choices. It was delivered everyday on time, warm and delicious. The bathroom and toilet amenities were excellent. I, personally, was delighted to find English television beside BBC and...

Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměst) is a breathtaking and historic square in the Old Town quarter of Prague, between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge and is famed for its marvellous architecture, especially the amazing astronomical clock on the town hall. The square is also the starting point for many tours and is a great place to hang out. Don't...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
