We stayed in Hotel Troja in September for a few days. The staff was skilled in English, friendly and always ready to help. We arrived at night on the first day and were very tired. We hadn't eaten in a long time and the receptionist offered to order us pizza, it was even delivered to our room. Breakfast was great in variety and the restaurant's food was most delicious. The tram to the city was located just next to the hotel and taxi service by the hotel was fast and reliable yet cheap. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again at some time. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a place to stay in Prague.

Everything wanted in a city hotel. Nice and comfatable decent sized rroms with good clean spacious bathrooms. Located close to all transport methods. Hotel provides decent range for breakfast and a good range for evening menu. Handy minibar in the room. Only 1 thing NO aircon in rooms and this does make the rooms very hot. Stay was during unusually hot spell in prague 40'c and rooms was unbearable even with fan. Visiting anytime else wouldnt fault the hotel all . Prices very very reasonable

Stayed here several times and it has always been good. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Kobylisy Metro and bus stop and the tram runs right past the hotel. We arrived before lunch and the receptionist asked the cleaners for our room to be made ready while we had a snack in the bar. Rooms are large with lots of storage, a safe and free wifi. Breakfast excellent - a hot cooked breakfast not just rolls etc. Recommend buying a travel ticket at the airport (available for 24 hours or 72 hours), after passing through customs head towards the exit and on the right are some kiosks, one dealing with public transport where you can buy the tickets, the staff speak good English and tickets can be bought with a credit card.

We booked our 2 bedroom suite for 2 people back in March for a July stay. We arrived at 9:30pm only to find that we had been given a triple room with a fold-out bed. When we questioned them, they said that the suite was full and they may be able to move us to the suite the next day. They had no explanation as to why the room was not available for us. The next day they moved us, but there was no assistance provided in getting all of our luggage from the old room to the new room! The receptionist said that they would give us a 20% discount on the first night so we thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and honour our reservation. When we checked-out, the 20% discount had been withdrawn. A different receptionist called the hotel manager who refused to speak to us and refused to honour the 20% discount. When we questioned the receptionist further as to why the suite we booked wasn't available when we checked-in, her English suddenly became very poor and she got nasty. We had booked through booking.com and I believe that as we got the suite at a discounted rate, the hotel was not going to go out of their way to assist us. The maid service left a lot to be desired too ... twice we put the "clean my room" sign out early in the morning and came back late afternoon to find that the room had not been cleaned! STAY AWAY from Hotel Troja. They are misleading and deceptive. They do not honour reservations and they are not honest in their business dealings. The listing on booking.com says it is a 4 star hotel .... by what standards??

I booked this hotel from September last year. We arrived at about 3pm and we were surprised to find out that there were no rooms for us ( 2 rooms for 4 people). They excused by saying that no one gave them our booking(we made it through EXPEDIA) and there was a solution for us: another 4star hotel, not far away, 2 km maybe. We went there and another surprise: we entered into a public toilet, the smell was awful, bugs and dirty everywhere. And of course this hotel had 3 stars and was just across the corner. We came back to Troja. The receptionist was surprised and then begun to laugh saying" Sorry, but you have no solution, Prag is full". She just laugh all the time. The manager didn't want to speak with us on the phone, didn't show up, what a "nice"guy. We stood there for 4 hours, called the police, didn't do nothing of course. I was only a stranger in their country. At some point told us they would give us some money(how it was possible since the hotel didn't have out booking?) a big LIE!!!!!!!At the end they gave us some money back, told us the rest will come from Expedia, which didn't happen (first and last time with EXPEDIA).
It is awful to plan your trip and to find out there was no room for you, the town is full and the receptionist laughing all the time.
I do travel a lot, but it was the first time that something like this happened to me.( although I read here about this here). Anyway, Prag was not full, we found a nice hotel and everything went well, but not thanks to PROFI TEAM TROJA.

I arrived to a pleasant reception. Quick check in and all seemed well.
However, when arriving in my room, I found NO DESK as they advertised but a small round table which is literally knee high. There is no way a person can work on his laptop this low. When I went down to complain that I had no desk and explained that all I had was a small round table, I got a smile and a shrug of the shoulders. Further to this, the door that leads onto my balcony was hanging by one hinge and doesn't close AT ALL... i complained about this and they told me the technician would come the next day to repair it...I waited and nobody came. This damaged door has been damaged for some time and clearly they couldn't be bothered to fix it and never gave my thought to the security or safety of their visitors or the security of the visitors personal belongings. I was on 1st floor and all that separated me from the room next door was a 4 foot railing. The shower was tiny ( really tiny and you literally cannot bend over unless you open the shower door unless you are a contortionist ). Basic tasks like ensuring bar fridge was restocked was over looked as well as replacing the empty bottle of shower gel in the shower.. To get this changed, I had to remove the empty gel container and put it on the sink in the bathroom to prove it was empty. Just basic things but still quite irritating when you are on a business trip. Would I stay again...on business no....

I stayed in the hotel just for 1 night during July. The location is quite near tram and metro station Kobylisy. Hotel is situated in quiet area outside the city centre. I had a double room on 2nd floor. Despite pleasant weather, the room was hot because it was on the sunny side of the building. No AC and weak WiFi connection made my stay not comfortable. Breakfast is extra charges and overpriced. Furniture was outdated. I will choose another hotel for my next stay in Prague.

Very clean, very friendly, excellent continental breakfast with a huge offer of food.
The rooms were all modern with flat screen tv's (no english channels though), very quiet to sleep. The view of the city was excellent, although it is unfortunately located quite far from the city itself making it difficult to truly experience the wonder that is prague at night, if that's not an issue then definitely stay here! There is also a tram stop nearby to get into the city centre.
Not sure of prices as we were sent here from another hotel, but it certain earns its 4* rating.

This Hotel was just perfect. The breakfast was rich and the service was also great. The receptionist helped me with all of my problems ( how to get to the center, where can i buy subway tickets, etc. ) The room was very clean and i had a really nice view from the 3th floor :-) I can only prefer this hotel. My trip was just amazing.

We arrived at 12.30pm on the 3rd April. We went to reception to check in and were asked to come back at 2.00pm. We told the receptionist we would wait in the bar/restaurant. We went back to reception at 2.20pm and watched while a couple who had just arrived checked in for two nights. I then asked if we could check in and was told that they were full and they would send me to another hotel for one night and then I could come back and hopefully stay for the next two nights in this hotel. A man behind me said do not stay at the other hotel I have just been sent there as my party of 10 had been split into two groups and we have just come back from the other hotel and it is awful more like a hostel and not near to the metro. The hotel is out of the city and you could not walk safely around in the evening as there is "tags on most of the walls" and nowhere to go even if you felt like it. I rang Booking.com who found us another hotel in the city centre and I got a full refund from the hotel. However Booking.com did tell me that if the hotel is full they must pay, if the other hotel they put you in is more expensive and this would explain why they choose a hostel around the corner they probably even make on farming people out to other hotels. Disgusting service.
