For the price its a bargain stayed here twice while away on boys weekend perfect location for bars/clubs, it's clean and tidy it's an average hostel that I would happily stay at again for a short period of time.

I have been there in 2008. One evening I got back from outside, I left my bag in the room and went to wc. When I got back my bag with all money and documents was stolen. The "funny" stuff is that I saw the guy coming out from my room but I thought it was a new roommate. he...

This hostel did not have very good staff (apart from one) they were all very rude & not helpful. The rooms were quite filthy & the mattresses were awful. Our room didnt have curtains over the window so you dont get a chance to sleep in if thats what you want to do. Also the showers were HORRIBLE!!!!! they cut...

Just got back after staying here and i was compelled to write a review something ive never done before but thought i had to, to warn others about this place. From the outside it looks like a prison, and as another review has said it is hard to find as the entrance is on another street than advertised and took...

After all the bad reviews I read about this place, I was actually was pleasantly surprised. I think it was because I was expecting it to be so disgusting that when I actually arrived I didn't think it was that bad. Just to explain, I stayed in the hostel for five nights with 20 other 16/17 year olds and two...

Apple Hostel wasnt the best choice ever, but it didnt kill me anyway. First, the hostels adress is meant to be on Nam. Republiky 7, but no. The entrance is on another street, with no signs, just some ¨HOSTEL¨ signs without even mentioning the name of it. There are no individual lockers in the rooms and no individual bathrooms. Bathrooms...

As I searched backpacker hostels in Prague online, the Apple Hostel stood out because it offered free lockers and had a great location. I was convinced this was my best choice as a lone traveller. I arrived at 6pm in Prague and unfortunately it was dark. However, armed with a map I headed off confidently. The Apple Hostel is situated...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
