Prague is my favorite city in Europe and my father lives in Steyr, Austria. I go whenever given the chance and this trip was not planned as my girlfriend and I came to Prague spontaneously to watch a soccer game. Patrick the manager was incredible,...More

Great location. Clean warm comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff.
Would definitely stay here again
Complimentary coffee and wine at reception was a very nice touch. Within easy walking distance of all main sights. Perfect!!
We were delighted with the Hotel Hastal. It was charming, inexpensive, and conveniently located. The staff were helpful and friendly. We definitely would stay here again, and highly recommend it to others.
We had a wonderful stay at this family run hotel which is perfectly located close to everything in Old Town. There was always a receptionist at the desk ready to answer any questions, the full breakfast everyday was delicious and plentiful! There is an espresso...More
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the
modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Yes there is a lift. My wife and I liked the place. We also used their airport pickup which was reasonable and nice. We also liked the near by restaurant -- I think it's "behind" the church (the desk made a reservation for us). All in all we liked the place and would stay there again if we ever return to Prague. We also liked Prague Food Tour. If you like to shoot pistols and/or rifles try Celeritas Shooting Club. It's easy to get to using public transportation. Hope you enjoy your trip.

no it's a no smoking hotel. There are no balconies. The small square outside is very pleasant though and I think there may be a couple of benches outside the church opposite but don't quote me on that.
