Am currently staying at the Aurus Hotel for 4 nights.. What a delightful find. We booked this through wotif on recommendation from tripadvisor. The hotel is beautifully situated in old Prague within walking distance of everything. The rooms are large and clean and have a very new modern bathroom .Breakfast was included and well worth it. We were unsure what...

We are currently staying in this hotel and loving it. Only 8 rooms, very quaint and confortable. The rooms are generous in size and well furnished, beds are very comfortable. Previous comments suggested noise at night, but the windows have been double glazed since then and we have not found the noise to be a problem. Maybe in the high...

We've stayed in the Aurus just after Christmas and was very pleased with this quaint hotel. The historic building is just beautiful with so much character and we loved that there were only a few rooms making it so much more personal. We also liked that they try to bring some diversity into the breakfast, although not a wide variety...

Dear Madam, Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We were really pleased to read all the lovely comments you made about our hotel. I would still like to address the two problems that you mentioned. Regarding the noise level at night, the hotel's location on the "Royal Path" means that at certain times of year, the large number...

The Aurus Hotel is a small, but cozy and refreshing hotel in the old town area of Prague. Being right in between the Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge, many of the Old Town attractions Prague has to offer are only a stone's throw away! The hotel's building was built in the 16th century, but the few rooms are...

We stayed only one night at the Aurus Hotel but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had the deluxe room, which included a king-sized bed and a smaller bed for our daughter. The room was quite spacious with comfortable chairs and couch. The breakfast buffet was excellent; they even made eggs to order. The location is fabulous: right on the main...

We've been 4 friends in the middle of november. At first we thought its hunted but we understood that it's the most wonderful hotels in Prague. The crew is lovely and the breakfest is very tasty. It's in the middle in the old city and it's near everything. Defenetly worth the price. 👍👍👍

This small hotel is most charming. Nice ancient building in good shape, excellent breakfast. bathroom, airco, beds, reception: everything was excellent. Romantic place too. There is no parking, but you know this before you book. Everything is really near: Charles Bridge? 200m walk. Old town square: 200m walk. This is an advantage, but it is also the vulnerable point of...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
