The Grand Hotel Praha in Prague is a lovely boutique hotel with terrific staff where we stayed in a lovely, very comfortable Superior Room. We were able to even get a transfer from the airport as part of our package. The hearty breakfast offerings are delicious, with lots of choices. The staff very helpful with directions, suggestions, maps, etc. There...

This is a delightful hotel with proximity to so many sites around Old Town Prague. You can easily walk to the Jewish Quarter, over the Charles Bridge to streets beyond, and more. Our nicely sized room overlooked the Square and had a cozy clean bathroom. The staff were great and very accommodating. The single room one friend stayed in was small...

We booked a grand deluxe double room through their website which had a special of staying 4 nights but only paying for 3. We also had our breakfast included in the price. We arrived late at night but had organised a transfer from the airport with the hotel. Our driver Charles collected us from the airport after we had arrived...

What can I say about this place is what a location , right in the middle of the old town square, opposite the famous Gastronomical Clock. When we checked in our room wasn't ready so they upgraded ours to a beautiful huge room like a flat and best of all our view was fantastic, looking right at the clock how...

We spent a weekend in Prague and were going to stay at the Marriott, but my wife decided to change our reservations. So glad she did. Sitting right on the square, we spent a lot of time at the cafe's right outside the door watching the astronomical clock and having great food. The prices on the square are a little...

We had a very nice room -- clean and comfortable. The hotel is directly across from the astronomical clock and next to Old Town Square. We walked across the Charles Bridge and up to the castle. The staff was very kind and helpful. We would gladly stay there again.

Dear Sir/Madam, thank yu, for your respond to our accommodation. I have to agree, that it can be a bit of a challange to find our hotel in the dark, but in the day time, it is exactly opposite Astronomical Clock and yes, taxi can only drop our guests about 3 minuts walking distance to our hotel, however, our porter...

The hotel is right on the square and transportation is just a few steps away. You can not have a better location if you want to be in the center of things. The location is excellent for seeing so many architectural sights. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were fabulous! The hotel has 3 outdoor cafes & the dining room is inside, so you have a nice selection of where to eat. And Motzart's Cafe is THE place for getting your speciality coffees & sweet deserts. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
