Friendly, clean, exceptional bathrooms, center of Old Town Prague, walkable to sights and metro, close to numerous restaurants, and has charm. Breakfast included. Beds were a little hard. No elevator.

Could not recommend highly enough if looking for a central base when visiting Prague. No negatives apart from noise from preparations and hosting in the square for the Prague Marathon but certainly not something the hotel can do anything about. All told, it did not detract from a thoroughly enjoyable stay and experience with all hotel staff. Would recommend pre-booking...

While the hotel and rooms have an old appearance, this is part of the charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Wifi, while a Little slow, works in most of the building. Breakfast buffet is awesome with large selection to satisfy most. Not much to fault really. Located right in the main square and an easy walk to everywhere. Surprisingly,...

Wonderful hotel in the most fantastic location. Staff were attentive and courteous with nothing too much trouble. Received some very sound advice from the concierge. Booked two rooms with views of the historical astronomical clock, which took in views to the right of the square. The beds were large and so comfy we slept very soundly. This hotel drew us...

Excellent view at the historical astronomical clock from some rooms (our room). Our room was spacy and well functioning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money.

I wouldn't normally be judgemental or critical but this hotel was diffidently the exception. We ignored other negative reviews about this hotel to are cost. Lucky enough we where situated at the rear of the hotel where there was less crowds compared to the front, so managed to get some sort of broken sleep. But the rear of the hotel...

Dear Sir/Madam, thank you, for your review! I am very sorry, that the outside noise, was such a big problem for you, yes, it is a very busy Square, right in the heart of Prague and there is very little we could do about that, apart from double glaze windows, which we do have in every single room, of our...

An unbelievable hotel located in the main old town square right across from the Astronomical Clock. Close to all sights and all restaurants. The rooms are quaint and located in an old renovated building with a lot of charm. Breakfast is very good with many choices even for vegans with a great view of the old town square.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
