Room was small but nice and clean. Comfortable bed. However, the wifi probably only worked 50% of the time, the showerhead broken and water went all over the bathroom floor, and our balcony faced a hostels balcony that made a lot of noise in to all hours of the morning. There was only stairs. The breakfast spread was nice.

The hotel is not very big, and the rooms aren't very comfortable, but the stuff is very kind and polite. The breakfast is good also if there isn't a lot of choice. There is also a good service of taxi for the airport

First, if you have big luggage and bags; there is no elevator. If you have health issues - you cannot bring it up! You need to use stairs. No one will help you to bring it up. They had given me a room in third floor facing road side; there is no proper label where is room 37. The key...

Staff was ok. The hotel it self was ok almost clean everywhere, beds was ok, bathroom was a bit dirty, rooms decent. No smoking in the hotelroom, thats good. BUT. Next door to the hotel is a big hostel, with balconies facing the hotel. The room we got was facing out towards the courtyard and the hostels. We had kind...

First off- the staff are amazing!! 24h manned reception and no phoning or buzzing for someone, we went the wrong way from metro and had been walking 90 minutes before finding the hotel- they carried our bags upstsirs for us and let us rest before doing the paperwork etc. Helped us to navigate the area and answered any general questions....

I stayed for 2 nights here, it was an average hotel to rest your head at night. The hotel was quiet & there was no elevator so good thing I was backpacking. The room was nice, some noise from outside even with the window closed. The bathroom wasn't that nice, so didn't use the shower. Breakfast was included & very...

We spent 3 days in Prague, and stayed at the Colloseum. Very reasonably priced and well worth the money. Clean and comfortable bedroom (beds were a wee bit small), an adequate bathroom and a well stocked continental buffet breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. The hotel is in a superb location, easy walking distance from Wencleslas square, the old town and all...

I just returned from this hotel. As you can see from the picture, the room looked pretty good, also the bathroom, so I wonder if they refurbished, as pictures I see from others look much worse. The price we paid was amazing, only 30,-gbp per night. Right now I see that prices are much much much bigger?! Location is just...

Great location, if you want to explore Prague. Close to metro station and main places to see. Hotel and rooms are quite simple, don't expect luxury for this price. But everything is clean and cleaning service done everyday.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
