The hotel is ok, small rooms (at least the ones we played with us), passable breakfast, cleaning the room rather poor (in 3 nights never replenish shampoo!). Location very good. Quiet and safe. But worst of this hotel is that they stole from the safe 100 euros and 400 dollars, BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY DID, MAY BE CLEANING...

We loved Prague, loved the Hotel, the location on Kampa Island. There was a little festival on the island or maybe ongoing music entertainment and some food vendors. (Be aware that they put a lot of food in your container and then you have to pay by weight!) I would like to mention that our room was very small and...

We first booked another hotel in the Lesser Town, but at arrival were told there was a problem with the booking and that they had arranged alternative accommodation. We were lucky, because Kampa Garden was actually nicer with an excellent location and quiet rooms. Would stay there again.

We just finished an 8-day trip to Prague for our 30th anniversary. We decided to book our stay at Hotel Kampa Garden after doing some research on the web. For us, this was an excellent choice. Here are some things to consider: 1. Not all the rooms offer the same level of comfort as we had. We stayed in room...

Had a very pleasant 6-night stay here a few weeks ago. Room was fine - liked that there was a fridge/minibar to put...

Wonderful location. The hotel is clean and spacious, the staff are helpful and friendly, and when we mentioned that one bedside light was not working, the bulb was replaced immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. Give the staff a chance to put things right before moaning on Tripadvisor. The Mediterranean market was vibrant and wonderful. Magic. Several visitors to Prague...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
