A good hotel centrally located, within easy walking distance of the Old Town Square. All areas of hotel very clean. Staff friendly and efficient. A very good selection to choose from at breakfast time. All areas of the breakfast buffet were replenished frequently so no waiting for more bread etc to arrive! The pianist at breakfast time was an added...

A friend and I stayed at the hotel in March and the location was great, the staff were friendly and the hotel & rooms were lovely. We had breakfast at the hotel which included an array of options. A bonus for me was that the maids would provide their service to your room well into the afternoon, which meant you...

The first room we were offered, upon check in, was 902 which was a nice deluxe room but unfortunately next to the lift and other reviews had said to avoid this as they can be noisy and I would agree, so we asked for an alternative and were allocated 907 which was a bit smaller and had no sofa unlike...

I don't like writing bad reviews, so I will start with the positive: Location is excellent Rooms are very clean Excellent price, value for money. After reading many positive reviews we booked a 2 night stay at the Grandior. Not our sort of hotel, too bright, too busy, too noisy, too characterless. A couple of nice lounges near the lifts,...

Pros: - The room was very clean, modern and comfortable - Great selection for breakfast, liked the pianist there too but can be crowded at times - Great location, 15 min walk from the old town square, tram stop right outside and metro station 3-4 min walk away. Simple to get to from the airport too - Staff very friendly...

An amazing hotel, with very helpful friendly staff, The rooms are beautiful, comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast is a banquet... My only complaint is we only stopped for 2 nights... I would come back.. easy walk to the highlights of a beautiful city and the tram stop is right outside the door

Nice hotel near the city centre. Really quiet and services were plenty. You can find a spa and casino but we did not use them. Room was plain but ok. Good dark curtains and a bath tub. Service was really good. During breakfast they had a lot of trainees but it did not bother us. Some piano music, sparkling wine...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
