Just had an excellent weekend in prague and stayed at an excellent hotel with the most comfiest bed ever. rooms were excellent, all mod cons and very clean. hotel bar staff were brilliant and the hotel is a 15 min leisurely walk from Charles bridge. area has loads of bars and restaurants to choose from and massive shopping centre practically...

Within walking distance to old town. Hotel room is clean, bed comfortable, wifi connection in room sporadic. Service at reception is mediocre. Great salads at cafe next door and a good Asian food joint at food court a few minutes walk down. Hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet spread.

Could not fault the hotel and staff. The room was clean and lovely, and we had a kettle and tea bags complimentary! It was my birthday during our stay, at breakfast the pianist played happy birthday and the waitresses bought me a cake over. It was a lovely touch. Just a fabulous stay!

Stayed for 4 nights for not too expensive price, but got a smaller room for what we've expected. The room is clean and nice, but you get only one little bottle of shampoo+conditioner, when it's done you have to buy a new one for yourself. Breakfast is simple and tasty, and you have a great range of food. Staff is...

This hotel is amazing, a short walk to the main centre of the old town Prague. We felt very welcomed and were very well looked after, rooms were spotless and comfortable, the choice for breakfast was huge leaving us full and prepared for the day ahead exploring the city. The piano player at breakfast was very relaxing and lovely. The...

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Great location- not far from the train station, bus station and the beautiful sights of Prague. Everything was within walking distance. Check in process was delayed causing inconvenience on 01 May. Rooms were good. Not totally sound proof near the lift. Breakfast had a good spread with live music playing. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions. The Grand Spa within the hotel had attractive discounts for the hotel guests.

Stayed at the Grandior Hotel Prague from 10th-13th April. It's a great hotel, centrally located, only 10 minute walk to all attractions. Easy check in, very efficient and helpful staff (not overly friendly). Lovely spacious rooms, big bathrooms with all amenities. Breakfast is in a class of it's own - something for everyone. Fruit, nuts, seeds, 20 types of breads...

I'll cut to the chase, this is bad hotel in a bad part of town. There are safety notices in rooms warning you not to open your room if ANYONE knocks and to call reception. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
