Unbelivably noisy at night and the curtains didnt block much light out of the room. But the punch line is we had our bags packed for us bye staff while shopping, then we were left with out a room, as the twit behind the desk made a mistake as to how many nights we were staying, and sold the room...

After my week in Budapest, was booked for three days in Prague. WARNING - If travelling by car, do not book hotels in Prague 1 area. Arrived Saturday mid afternoon, guided by TomTom, which was OK, but mainly one-way streets, all going the wrong way! Eventually found the shop-front that was reception and booked in. As previous reviewers state, strange...

Walking up the flight of stairs to the floor where the rooms were located was not a good first impression. It was very grubby. Once we entered the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised. We had a double and single bed and the bathroom was recently renovated. The noise at night was unbelievable - we couldn't really understand...

Before writing the review one must bare in mind that staying in the centre of Prague is not an inexpensive exercise. Quite honestly, I was shocked at some of the prices. So if youe are going it may be worth doubling up on your spending money. With this in mind and how much you have to shell out for this...

Although i didn't book this place, i was very pleased when we arrived.Nice big windows and a large room with a modern bathroom. It was a very pleasant place and a great location. The breakfast was ok, although you do have to leave the actual hotel and walk across the street to a little bar with a terrace, not too...

I stayed in hotel Accord in July 2007 3 nights and it was excellent. Location is great just few minutes walk from old town area. Room was nice and clean with modern bathroom and stuff was extremely kind. There was breakfast in the restoraunt across the street with great food.

Great location shame about the noise. If you value your sanity please do not stay at this hotel. It is on a busy road and is very noisy - all night long!! Needed to have windows open as there is no air conditioning and the noise is terrible - very little sleep was had by all. Room was clean but...

The hotel is ideally situated close to the old town square so is a good base for exploring the city. Don't be put off by the exterior, the rooms are on one floor of a four storey building and are secure. The rooms were recently refurbished and are clean and nicely presented, what you see in the hotels pictures is...

We stayed at the Pension Accord for two nights. The room was sparse, but who cares. The carpet needs to be changed, but the room was clean with huge windows. The bathroom was modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful, The location was absolutely fabulous. It took minutes to get into Old Town Square with fabulous sites along the...

Although mixed guidebook reviews we stayed here. Hotel okay, good location but walls paper thin and only breakfast down street starting at 0900. We did have a major problem with parking, which is not next to hotel as stated on the hotel's website. Hotel staff/manager not helpful at all stating "Our hotel does not have anything with parking" even though...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
