Great beer and Czech cuisine. Went a few times and enjoyed sampling a variety of traditional dishes. Try the mlek foam, but only if you shoot it.
Reservation is a good idea, like at most places in Prague.
Second time I stay in this hotel and I like it even more now! The rooms are clean and very good size, beds are comfortable.
The staff is super friendly. It is basically next to the Charles Bridge in a trendy area. The hotel itself...More
Had a great stay, staff very helpful. Room 31 is in the roof space and was very comfortable, clean, warm and quiet with a lokal twist. The bar area gets very busy so I cannot say how quiet other rooms would be in the evening....More

Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Since the hotel is situated in the historic centre of Prague (this part of Prague is very small and protected by special municipal laws), we cannot offer this service. Our guests are sent to the closest underground parking garage, which is on náměstí Jana Palacha (Alšovo nábřeží 12) and directly below the Rudolfinum, the seat of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. It is a very large space and there is no need to reserve a spot in advance. The price is 660 CZK/24 hours. Its GPS coordinates are 50°5'24.609"N and 14°24'54.759"E.
If you do not mind parking a little farther away, we suggest that you do so at Hotel Pyramida on Bělohorská 24, Praha 6, which is cheaper – 350 CZK/24 hours. Its GPS coordinates are 50°5'7.958"N and 14°22'47.914"E. Take Tram 22 from there to the Malostranské náměstí stop: you will be back at the hotel in roughly 20 minutes.
You can drive your car to our hotel, check-in, drop off your baggage and then go in search of a parking spot. The receptionist will be glad to give you directions. The GPS coordinates for the Lokál Inn are 50°5'15.554"N and 14°24'27.093"E.
