My couple and I stayed there for 3 nights and what a wonderful break it was! The hotel is located in a quiet area but still only 5min walk to Charles Bridge and tourist areas. All the staff are beyond polite and friendly and helpful. We highlight how helpful Erhan (Operation Manager) and the Concierge staff were to us. In-room...

Interesting hotel in an old Monastery. Our room was lovely, large and well appointed. The Service all through the hotel was great. The location is wonderful, right across the famous Charles Bridge, near Old Town. Our biggest disappointment was the restaurant and Bar. We got in late so had dinner at the Thai restaurant in the hotel, the food was...

The MO Prague is close to perfection. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they'll do their very best to facilitate your stay and make it unforgettable. Rooms are very comfortable and the associated services are top class (laundry, night service, etc). As for the restaurant, spices is excellent mixing different types of asian cuisine for a very reasonable price....

The hotel is great, We opted for the "room with a view" as we were only able to be in Prague two nights and we arrived late in the evening after a train ride from Vienna. Our room had an exceptional view of the castle which made it worth the long walk to said room! (The hotel used to be...

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
