The DOMINICAN Hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre at Old Town Square, just a few steps away, on the cobbled streets, from the famous Astronomical Clock.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! It is a super cool old monastery with converted rooms. Rooms are large and have exposed wood ceilings. 24 hr helpful reception. Only four minute walk from the old clock tower. The breakfast is really really good too. Both eggs made to order and plenty of stuff to gorge yourself on before starting your day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Two minor complaints: the shower heads don’t have a good relaxing spray. Sort of comes out like a hose. And it’s sort of hard for taxis to find, but if you put in husova 11 into Google that’ll work a lot better. The hotel sends pre check in emails and it would be helpful to include that address before arrival.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of the Old Town - a great location that meant I could easily walk to all the sights. The staff were friendly, my room was comfortable and luxurious and although the hotel was very central and there were a lot of tourists walking past, it was very quiet. The only downside was that the attractive cellar bar is currently closed which isn't advertised.

Room 404 is equipped with tiny and inconvenient shower because this is the upper floor and the roof is sloped. We were also disappointed by the breakfast. The variety of the food was poor, the eggs were served cold and they didn't have enough big size coffee cups for coffee making. Overall i would say it was not the best value for money.

Could not recommend this hotel more. It’s so nice!! The building itself, has such great character, really authentic to the area. We stayed for 3 nights, over which , we met various different team members who were all so friendly and helpful. The area couldn’t be better, everything is within walkable distance. I would happily stay here again. Prague itself , also incredible! Thanks to the team for our stay.

The building is a former monastery in the 1400s. The architecture is well preserved, as well as a few furniture pieces. The room is clean. The staff are all helpful and courteous. The location is strategic. Highly recommended!

Our 4 night stay was on the whole very enjoyable at this old converted monastery. Full of old charm and very comfortable. We were however a little disappointed in the breakfast on our first two days. It seemed short staffed with only one person on duty. Having to ask for things to be replenished constantly was not what we expected. The last two days not surprisingly were much better with more staff and a person who we assume to be a manager making sure everything was in order. Our other niggle was regarding coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine in our room - No capsules are provided and you have to buy them from reception at 1 euro each. Putting these small things to the side we would recommend the hotel for comfort, character and most importantly location.

Hello and thank you for your review and evaluation of our services. We are very sorry that you did not rate the breakfast service positively. Our breakfast chefs are constantly replenishing the buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. As for in-room coffee, every room in our hotel is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules for the coffee machine are available in the minibar for a fee, just like everything else in the minibar. I must emphasize that the minibar offer is charged in all hotels worldwide. Free instant coffee, tea and water are available in the room. We are happy that you chose "The Dominican" hotel for your vacation and we look forward to seeing you next time. Yusif, hotel manager.

Loved staying at the Dominican! The staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, and breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is that there was a lot of street noise in the room (the hotel is across from a pub). The location is perfect- surrounded by restaurants and shops with a short walk to sightseeing attractions.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. Despite the convenience of being situated in Old Town you will not hear any of the revelry going on outside. The room was comfortable, and the staff is very helpful.

Prague is a beautiful city and if you're looking for a smart, comfortable, and convenient boutique hotel at the heart of the city's Old Town, there is none better than The Dominican. A former 13th century monastery (hence its name) we received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Particular mention of Maria on reception who is really friendly and professional. Its 26 rooms are well-appointed with traditional mahogany furniture but with all modcons including large flatscreen tv and generous bathrooms with long bath and excellent shower in our room and plenty of sockets for charging etc and a floor level night-light. Although central, rooms are very quiet and soundproofed so good sleep is assured. One area to address is breakfast where eggs cooked to order should be promoted more prominently/obviously and bacon could be better quality. There is hotel restaurant that seems to serve mainly pizza so you feel at a hotel of this quality, they could do more with that. But overall, a lovely hotel we'd be pleased to stay at again on a future trip to Prague.

Hello, dear Mr. Edward, thank you for your review and high rating of our services. We are glad that you have chosen "The Dominican" hotel for your vacation. As for the restaurant offer, I would like to add that in addition to pizza, we also offer many types of pasta, seafood, and our pride is also Dteaky from the Josper grill. Too bad you didn't try one of our specials, I'm sure you'd change your mind. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you next time. Yusif, hotel manager.
