Previous reviewers have mentioned how great this hotel is - great location, big comfortable rooms, great breakfasts. What really impressed us were the staff, especially those at the reception desk. They were always friendly and helpful even at the end of a long day. They gave us great advice on what to see in Prague, where to eat and where...

I had a standard room at the Savic and it was quite large and comfortable. A nice touch was the Nespresso machine. The people at the desk were quite nice and helpful with restaurants. I didn't give it 4 or 5 stars because when I first got to the room it was a bit warm outside and the room was...

Oh wow! What a lovely time we had in Prague! The Savic is in such a great location and we managed to find our way there from public transport fairly easily by hopping of at Mustek metro station. Staff spoke great english and were friendly and showed great sense of humour! Very helpful with any questions. Breakfast was great, and...

We have just returned from this lovely hotel that had been recommended to us and I can see why. The Hotel is a restored monastery and has beautiful beamed ceilings in the bedrooms, which are very clean and spacious. The bathroom was also very large and the water always hot. We were supplied with extra coffee - just asked in...

We have selected this hotel on our next trip to Prague based on Trip Advisor reviews! Believe me it all up to the mark. We normally travelled on business & always staying in 5 star but this small hotel is more than five star. From check in with a welcome drink till check out all went smoothly. We also seen...

There is no doubt that our next trip to Prague will bring us right back to the Savic Hotel. The rooms were charming, the staff was fantastic, the location in the center of many walking locations and the price was perfect for what you get. Thank you for sharing tour hotel and City with us.

We do agree with most of the complimentary reviews on this hotel. We stayed in Savic in the beginning of March and enjoyed our stay. Big rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and good breakfast. We would have called it excellent but unfortunately during our stay of 3 nights, the hotel had problems with hot water. We only had hot water...

TripAdvisor has been a great source of information for us over the years, but I've never put up a review before - however the negative things I've read about the Savic has prompted me to stop being so shy! The Savic is a small but beautiful and classy boutique property in an old historic building, in the middle of an...

I agree with the other complementary reviews. Great location, interesting large rooms with all the normal amenities including both wireless and wired free internet. There is even a luggage porter who reminded me of Igor in Young Frankenstein. Special kudos to the most helpful desk staff. The desk clerk actually ran over to the restaurant make a reservation when she...

We stayed at the Savic hotel for four nights in early May. Overall we have a great experience with the hotel and would recommend it to others. We booked a standard double room, but upon our arrival we were upgraded to a superior room with one of the painted ceilings (I think our room number was 206, but I'm not...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
