A great hotel just off the Old Town Square, that didn't suffer from street noise or crowds. Husband and I stayed 4 nights. Room was large, clean with a marble bathroom and overlooked a quiet back street so we had complete peace. Fantastically comfortable bed. The receptionist on arrival (Anna) is amazing - knowledgeable, helpful, fun and by far the...

The location of this hotel can't be beaten if you are trying to see the best of Prague on foot. It's just off Old Town Square, blocks from the Charles Bridge, easy walk to Wenceslas Square, and close to two metro stations. The hotel itself is beautiful, historic, and clean. Hostess Mira at the front desk was always smiling, even...

The hotel is in a perfect location, very close to the Old Town square and the nicest little roads in Prague. We give thanks to the hotel for the superior double room they selected for our anniversary, the roses requested and their overall service. The room was very nice, very well taken care of. My wife was very pleased.

The Savic Hotel is located in Old Town and provides easy walking access to Prague's main sights. Lovely clean rooms and a fabulous breakfast - omlettes and pancakes cooked to order! We would definitely stay at the Savic again.

Hotel Savic is located right in the middle of the old town, just around the corner from the Astronomical Clock and easy walking to Charles Bridge. It is quite easy to walk up to the Castle from here. Just the other side of Charles Bridge is a long set of very old but shallow steps. Quite a gently way to...

Being a first time traveller to Prague, we were unsure what to expect of this hotel, however, this hotel was faultless. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered us a choice of wine, beer, tea or coffee all complimentary. She explained the location of the hotel, the local amenities and all the attractions and places to visit. When...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
