Room was a bit warm for our tastes, and only contained a way to control the heat (no AC). Our room had two layered windows in each opening to help cut down street noises. Without this, the room would have been noisy from street traffic and people. With the window open to cool off the room, it was too loud...

This is a nice hotel which is very centrally located. It is a 5 minute walk to the main train station and walking distance from every major tourist attraction. The staff is quite friendly and the breakfast is a nice spread. Housekeeping, though, could do a much better job. All in all, a good choice for a short city break!

Few minutes’ walk from the main train station / metro and right in the middle of the action but in a quitter street off Venceslav Square. Everything you need to see is in walking distance so no need for taxi or bus, unless you go somewhere further away. Simple décor, quick check-in and room was very clean, small but with...

Good business hotel lives to its 4 star rating. Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Kept offering to store our luggage as we checked out early. Had dinner at their restaurant and couldn't fault it. Reasonable prices and for some reason they were offering complimentary soup and desert while we were there. 5 mins from station and 150 m...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
